I’ve been going to fsh to shop for years. I’ve always gotten a bag. I’ve not gotten an appointment through the system. Since the appointment system has gotten out in place I’ve been lucky enough to get in as a walk in. My husband got an appointment this time. It was just through trying daily.

@Nerja So sorry you didn’t get an appointment. After our encouraging posts, my sister and I went there in early February. I failed twice before I got one on 7th Feb. My sister didn’t have any shopping history in Europe. She tried three times and got all denied.

Due to my friend’s and my experience last year, it seemed that if you had purchased some items in FSH, it would have a better chance to get an appointment next day. So though I didn’t get one on 6th Feb, I visited the boutique and bought a Charniere bracelet and a pair of sneakers.

After I finished the shopping, I asked the lovely SA if she could help me to check if there were any canceled appointments of the leather department because we had tried for two days and all failed. She said she was sorry and we had to try again. Some people tried four times to get one. Then we thanked her and left. Luckily, at that night, I got an approved text, an appointment at 11:35 tmr. My sister still didn’t get one. She didn’t purchase anything on that day either.

I was so excited that night and hardly sleep! All the night, I was thinking all the possible situations and conversations. I prayed I would not meet the SA whom I was assigned last year again. The experience was really a nightmare. Then the morning finally came.

I arrived at the boutique at 11:10 and went up to the 1st floor directly. I took a look at the leather department. To my surprise, there were not many customers there. It was not swarmed with customers as we were there at 10:30 last year. I also tried to search if the nasty SA were there or not. lol Then I browsed around the Home department, with my sister, absent-mindedly because of the excitement and nerviness.

This was so “torturing” while I was waiting there so I decided to check in with the leather department first. Then I showed the reception the confirmed text I’ve got and my passport. The lady asked me to wait till I got the text saying my SA ready for me. My sister and I waited in the leather department. Less than 5 minutes, I got the text. I showed it to the lady again. She said my SA would be here soon. Then, there she was, walking to us! I did feel relieved when I saw her and thanked God, it was not the same one! Lol

She took me to the corner where my friend got a birkin last year. I wished this was a good sign. After we were all set, no small talk, she directly got to the point. I told her I was looking for a kelly or birkin and showed her my wishlist on my phone. She took a picture of it by hers with my approval and read. I told her this would be my first b/k so I would like to have one in neutral colors, like noir, gold, grey, or dark blue but if there were none of these, I would ONLY want it in Rouge Grenat, Rouge Vif or Rouge Casaque. The sizes I was after were kelly 25/28 or birkin 25/30. I preferred gold hw than palladium one and showed her my gold kelly watch. The leathers I was interested in were Evercolor, Epsom, Taurillion Novillo, or Barenia Faubourg. She asked if this were my first Hermes bag? I said no. I have a bolide and lindy and they are both in bright colors so I would prefer neutral colors for b/k. She then asked which bag I wanted the most? I said kelly 25. Last question, she asked if I need other bags? I said no, only b/k. She quickly read the list again and said, “Quite specific.” Off she went.

We didn’t know how long we had waited. It should be less than 20 minutes, maybe 15 minutes? Time seemed to go slowly while waiting. It was as long as I thought I was going to forget how she looked like. Here she came, with nothing in her hands. She said, “Follow me.” While we were walking to a small room, she said, “it was not kelly 25, but it was on the list!” When we entered the room, I saw three boxes on a sofa. I was so excited. She brought one box to the table and asked, “Are you ready?” I nodded with a big smile on my face. Then she opened the box with a slow motion. OMG, it was a kelly 28 in
Rouge Casaque, Evercolor leather with gold hw!!! The other two boxes were a fourbi and a “boot” bag charm. My sister said the charm is too big for the bag so we declined it and took the fourbi. The fourbi she took were in the wrong size so she was off again to get a right one. While we were waiting in the room, I took this picture and sent it to my friends, asking them about the bag.

Long story short, we picked up a twilly for the bag downstairs.

I also got a fox bag charm in the Sevres store and a Charniere bracelet in leather that I had been looking for a long time.

When I got home, I changed the bag charm to the cap one.

I finally got my dream bag. The journey was too wonderful to be true until I received my credit card bill.

Congrats! The purchasing the day before doesn't always work. I tried it in August and still got denied. (Bought bracelet and shoes just like you). Maybe it was a busier time of the year.

Thanks for the info! The stock is usually low in August because our-dream-bag makers are off for vacations.
According to the posts here, Fashion week, August, and after-Christmas are the times when the stock of bags is low.

The sneaker is a new collection, called “Trail.” This is my first pair of Hermes shoes. It’s really comfy while wearing. The soles are soft and the design makes your legs look longer. They are wedge sneakers.

The hidden height starts from the arrow.
According to the SA, the size of Trail sneakers runs bigger than other ones. They also come with a pair of shoelaces in black.

Dear @luzdetaiwan thank you for your very detailed post on your experience at FSH! Your rouge casaque Kelly is beautiful! I did make a purchase the day before: a Twilly and a Carré for myself and two clics and two pairs of earrings for my daughters the first day that I was declined an appointment. But it’s ok, I will try again in the fall with a fine jewelry purchase. You never know what may happen in Paris when shopping at Hermès!

Thanks luzdetaiwan. I like the extra height of the wedge. Majority of H shoes don't come cheap but they are indeed very comfortable on your first wear. Contrast to your 'Trail', the 'Starter' sneakers run small so I have to do a half size up.

Congrats again on all your score. I'm twins with you on the Charnerie bracelet and wear the black one daily.
