Yes, there are those with money to burn who don’t care because it’s “just a bag” but, on the flip side, many who aren’t choosy about color, size, etc have read horror stories about how HARD it is to get one, at all, and are just so excited to be offered and would be thrilled to have just about anything... I know w my first one, I had my preferences, but honestly, wouldve accepted anything just to be an owner of a glorious beautiful B

I don't mean genuine customers who are adding to their collection or first time clients. I mean people who are gonna to flip the bags immediately for a profit.

Does anyone know what the stock will be like beginning to mid Jan'19?
Also, if I got the chance to get an app do you think if i only asked for a B25 or B30 with my specific colours, leather and HW details I will be able to get one? or do i have to give other bag options? because i only want a B and won't be able to accept any other bags. TIA!

My SA always tells me stock is lowest in Jan and August. FSH always has bags but honestly there is less choice. Only buy what you want and are happy with, you can just express that you only want a Birkin.

I can’t speak about stock but I did ask for B25/B30 in specific colors, leathers and hardwares and I luckily got one of my top choices.

Good morning from Paris! I’m still jet lagged so I figured I would write out my experience so far in Paris. My DH had a business trip in London , my cousin and I tagged along so we could go to Paris after. I left London 10/4 and arrived in Paris around noon. The day beforehand 10/3 we all made an appointment but no one succeeded in getting an appointment. It was okay I didn’t let it bum me out, just figured it was best not to get my hopes up. We went to Versailles and the Eiffel Tower and still had an eventful day. We made appointments again for 10/5 , but all three of us were denied again. I decided since we were close to sevres store I could pop into the Hermes store and see if I could get a walk in “appointment”, but there was already a line forming where the hostess told everyone in line that they were no longer accepting anymore appointments. This was around 11;45 AM. We carried on our day , it didn’t bother me too much as i dont leave Paris until 10/10, so I have a few more opportunities. Around 7:32, while exploring Notre Dame , my cousin and I received a text that we are confirmed for an appointment! He has the time slot for 11:45, and I got 1:45. My DH was denied again. (Third try) .
We will head to FSH after we have breakfast and I will see if we score anything. After shopping, we are heading to Belgium so I will update again later on!

My cousins appointment was delayed by an hour at 12;15 originally 11:15. We were shopping at Gucci and made it in time to check in. It was crazy in there people shoving him left and right , he thought a showdown was going on. he asked for a birkin 25 or 30, or Hermes kelly 25,28,32 no preference in hardware and Togo or epsom leather. She left for about five minutes came back out and said there was nothing. He thanked her and he left.


My appointment was suppose to be 1:55 but then jumped to 12;45. I rushed to the store and met with the SAME SA that my cousin had (she was African? I think) I didn’t have a good feeling. I told her the same preferences but said I was open to a Constance. She left for two minutes and she came back with a small box , she presented me a Constance 18 in ostrich leather in magnolia . Unfortunately, it didn’t fit my lifestyle so I kindly declined.


My DH , cousin, and myself have applied for another shot at an appointment on Monday. It’s 7:48 , my DH just received confirmation for appointment Monday. We will leave Belgium Sunday night to for our appointment

It is a shame that the Constance wasn't right for you. (Sounds perfect for me though ). Hopefully you will get another offer. My fingers are still crossed.

An update to my recent visit to the store, I was finally given an appointment at 1030am after 2 failed online attempt. I was given my first choice of Kelly 28 sellier, super [emoji2] View attachment 4210038

However in the later morning after I dropped my bag at the hotel, on my way to George V at the tube station at Concorde I was pickpocket and all my $$ was gone. So please be very careful when taking the tube and do not look at your phone and hold tight to your bag.

A very eventful and emotional day for me!

Congrats on the Kelly but so sorry to hear that you were pickpocket. Were you carrying a backpack that could be an easy target?

@OnlyloveH Congratulations on the new bag, and Im so sorry that you've been pickpocketed. I almost been pickpocketed myself in Paris, though caught him before he manage to get my phone. He quickly went off, however we did notice he kept trailling on us afterwards even. Probably wanting to attempt it again. Please stay safe.

I think presences of DH was a big help. After a while, we actually look straight to the thief (who usually would look away when we look at him or pretend not to notice us), and gave him the 'death stare' & didnt budge until he finally leaves. Hes persistant, and you can tell hes fearless.

The episode definately shaken us up, we immediately left Lafayette, grab some meal & wind down at our hotel that day. Ever since that day, I always make sure to keep my phones & my bag (& the zipper/lock) is always in front of me, not where I can't see it.

Very sensible it sometimes takes a little scare to be extra cautous, glad you were not alone. I sometimes wonder when I see tourists who might not be aware of risks they may be taking like the Asian lady I witnessed in Selfridges a couple weeks ago paying for a croc B25 in cash, I don't think I'd seen so much money at once and it actually made me feel uncomfortable. All I could think about was what if she had gotten mugged! Anyway back to topic!
