Hi there ! Unfortunately I would be in Paris on 5-7 September and thought 6 September would be my best bet to score a bag. Any idea if it’s possible to still visit FSH on 6 September ? Thanks in advance.

If the store is closed, you obviously can't shop... I suggest you attempt to make an appointment for the 6th on the 5th via the appointment website. I assume it will say which day you are registering for and if they actually are closed on the 6th, the website should say you are registering for the 7th.

FSH will be closed the entire day on Sept 6 due to this special Event so not possible at all to visit the store

I assume the online app would be open on Sept 6, however, I would definitely try to make app on Sept 4 for next day or Sept 5 for Sept 7 in case the online system is closed too on Sept 6.

Update on my FSH trip. Just got back from Paris today and have time to unwind, sort of...back to my two young DDs! My SA offered me a Kelly 20 in Magnolia, I know this one has been seen a lot but I liked it so I went with it. My husband’s 3:15 appointment the SA offered a Constance 24 in Gris Perle evercolor SHW and we went with it too. I’m suddenly having regrets that GP is too light of a color (not that I can do anything about it now). But curious, if they offer you a bag, can you ask them to go back and check for another color/bag or is their offer your only option?

Definitely you may ask them for other choices but as we all know esp bags are very limited

Congratulations! Usually there are several colors from which you can choose, but if the SA mentioned it's the only one available, it means it's the only one they can offer you. No harm in asking for other colors. Worst is they would say no, but then you already have a gem infront of you

That’s awesome! The mini Kelly is a jewel! I haven’t seen GP in person, but it’s a good neutral IMO. Congrats!

Magnolia in the Chèvre leather is a little darker and richer and not as bright as the other Magnolia leathers I saw on display, so I’m happy about that. My Constance is in GP Evercolour, I guess due to lightness I’ll have to be more careful with it. I snuck in a mini Evelyne in Vert Vertigo, I love little bags in the pop colors

Magnolia in the Chèvre leather is a little darker and richer and not as bright as the other Magnolia leathers I saw on display, so I’m happy about that. My Constance is in GP Evercolour, I guess due to lightness I’ll have to be more careful with it. I snuck in a mini Evelyne in Vert Vertigo, I love little bags in the pop colors

Oops! I just double checked my receipt, the color of my Kelly mini is actually Rose Pourpre, that’s why I thought it looked darker than Magnolia ones on display! I need some sleep! Lol good luck next week dezynrbaglaydee! By the way, I did print out my wishlist for the SAs to use, they both took a photo of it before she went back to check and I scored both times (my appt and on my DH appt -which was a follow up appt that SA let me make when our first walk in appt came up empty)

Arrived Paris on the 7th, promptly went to the George V (temp) store that we had visited last May (when we bought a belt and a couple of bracelets) No B or K, so I asked to see an Evelyne and purchased a 29 in Gris Asphalte and a twilly (my very first H leather good!) We then headed over to the FSH mothership to make an appointment (I didn’t realize we could’ve done this on-line the day before). After picking up a couple of belts and bracelets, we made an appointment and received confirmation at 7:30pm of a 10:30am appointment (the best time, as that’s when they open!) This whole time, I had been briefing my DH on how best to score a B, but had very low expectations of actually being successful. I could see he didn’t quite understand the process and his wonderment of why I was as nervous as a school girl lol We arrived right on time and were shown upstairs, where there was a long line of other 10:30am appointments. We didn’t wait long until an Asian lady sporting reddish eyeshadow and a chic blunt cut with bangs approached and asked what I was looking for. I could barely get out the words as I asked for a B or K, in 30 or 25, preferably in black, open to HW, and second choice would be any neutral, with blues and other muted colors following, but nothing too bright for my work. I could barely contain my optimism when she didn’t scoff or shake her head “no”, but instead, nodded and said she’d go check and led us away from the crowd. I could barely sit there without grinning like a Cheshire Cat while I waited in anticipation. My DH kept looking at me like, “what is WRONG with you?!” lol (As many times as I had explained the process of acquiring the elusive B or K, he still didn’t understand) When she returned with a big orange box and led us further away to an even more private area, I thought I would faint. When she pulled out a black B w GHW, I thought I would die, right there, on the spot lol My eyes widened and I couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear as I lovingly caressed this beautiful bag. She said only a B35 was available, and of course, there was NO hesitation in accepting it. We returned downstairs to look at (but didn’t buy) wallets and then picked up a twilly and a few of their limited-edition Paris-only ribbon bracelets before checking out at the cashier. At that moment, my newfound interest in Hermes turned into obsession! The next day, we checked out the Sevres store and was told stock was very low during the artisan holiday taken in August. Both the George V and Sevres store managers were most gracious and suggested we try again in 1-2 months. I am already planning our next trip to feed my addiction!

What a wonderful experience; I’m so thrilled for you! And in August, too! My honeymoon was in Paris, sixteen years ago, and most of the city was closed down for the summer ... Perhaps it’s time for me to return and keep my fingers crossed that I’m as lucky as you!
