Thank you for the intel!

Would you know how long one has to wait to purchase her second B/K at the FSH store?

And is the FSH purchase history linked to other H stores in Paris? Trying to see whether I could purchase another B/K from other stores during the ban period...

6 months. All Paris stores are using one system so they can see purchase history throughout France. Avoid jumping between stores. Try to select one and build relation with the local SA. Better chance to score a bag in the future.

Hi all,
I was in Paris from May 16-21 for my 40th birthday (from Wednesday to Monday). I attempted to get FSH appointments on Wednesday and Thursday and was turned down both times. After reading this post and fearing the worst about getting an appointment on Friday or Saturday, I decided to go into the store on Thursday to see if there were any cancellations. I spoke to the lovely hostess and indicated that it was my birthday and that I wanted to purchase a birkin. I requested a B35 in Togo in either gold, noir or bleu nuit (I have another birkin in etoupe with GHW). The hostess wrote down my preferences and said that she would attempt to work "some magic." I received an appointment 30 minutes later!

My SA was fantastic. He asked my dream color/leather combinations. I told him that I have a B35 in Epsom and a K35 in Clemence and that I really wanted a bag in Togo. I also prefer the B35 because I like large bags (I know that this size is not as popular on TPF). He had me wait in one of the smaller rooms with a wall showing color and leather choices. He brought me a gold B35 with PHW. I immediately squealed! He told me that I should make sure that I loved the bag because he also had a B35 in bleu nuit with GHW. He actually allowed me to look at both and ultimately I decided on the gold- it was a very tough decision.

My experience was amazing! I agree with other posters that you should try for an appointment but also swing by because you never know. Be patient. I saw so many rude and hostile customers that appeared to think that they were more important than anyone else. I speak broken French (I took it in high school) but I expressed my gratitude in French which seemed to endear me to the sales associates. Enjoy the experience! FSH IS GORGEOUS- take it all in.

I don't have pictures as I am traveling and my bag is at home, I had not intended to post but I wanted to comfort all of those readers that might be feeling discouraged

Ladies, is it ok if I present a photo copy of passport instead of the actual one to purchase in Hermes?
I don’t wanna go around with my passport
I’ve had some terrible experience before
I am concerned

From my experience, I was told by an SA at FSH that they will only take actual passport. Not sure if that has changed. Whereas I have had other stores accept a photocopy or even picture. I am wish you that I hate carrying passport around.

I have always used a photocopy when purchasing at H, Chanel, and every high end store in Paris. I have never had any problems.

If you don’t have any purchase history, they may ask for the actual passport. I’ve recently only shown a photo of it which I keep on my phone and there were no problems.

This is true unless you need detaxing. They've cracked down on seeing actual passports (vs photocopies) for detaxing so unless you have extensive history and are working with an SA you know, I would make sure you have your passport.

Not my first time shopping at FSH, and I do have a history on file — but I recently renewed my passport, so new passport number. The associate who processed my detaxe form spotted it immediately.

Hello, quick questions for upcoming Paris trip in July. I read a while back about high end hotel concierge can help score an appt with FSH, though that was before the online system. Anyone have luck using this method recently? I am staying at the Ritz, hoping to maybe ask them for help.

Also, it sounds like croc BKC are hard to come by? Was definitely hoping to get an exotic bag because the price is much better in Europe.
