Please try to stay on topic. I realise because of the complexity of some of the posts members may veer off but in answer do not 'go there'.

I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

I was wondering the same too...

I've wondered the same thing because I love this thread too. I wonder if fewer people are posting because of the appt system, if there are fewer people going to Paris to buy bags in general, or if there are simply fewer success stories (maybe decreases in product available for walk in).

Generally I think Hermes is aiming to strongly encourage people to shop only at their local store or the nearest they can reach within reason and to build up only one profile there. I think that's the plan anyway for the trend I notice. So possibly fewer bags for new clients and fewer appointments at FSH overall.

I wish i saw this earlier. I had an appointment for today at 11:35am and cancelled because I was able to score a bag using my BFs appointment the day before
I went there yesterday, bought a lovely silver bracelet and (casually) asked if they had any cancellations for that day. The SA said that they didn't and that they were already behind schedule. So I went to Chanel on Avenue Montaigne and bought a Boy Bag. I may try again some other time but for now I'm happy with my Boy.

Honestly, I think a lot of the hype from a couple years back was caused by resellers.

Question for those who just scored this week in Paris and live in US, where the SAs able to check your purchase history? The reason I’m asking is because I just read that this past weekend the US and France system were linked. If this is true then we all have to play a bigger game deciding where we will be have a greater chance of scoring what we want in a shorter period of time. This is something to watch out if you are planning a trip to Paris for Hermes.
