I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

Congratulations! You persisted and got rewarded! Please post some pictures. Can you describe how to get to the appointment desk?
@bellapurse If you go in from the front entrance (the one on Saint-Honoré) then you go up a few steps towards the handbag section in the back, but then the line kind of loops around, and the end of it was towards the right side of the handbag section (and this is right when they opened, not sure where the end of the line would be if you came later in the day). It took me a minute or two to figure out what was going on. If you go in from the side entrance then the line is probably right around where you enter I think, but I'm not sure as I didn't go in from there. Oh and it's not a desk, it's just a line, and at the front is several Hermes staff waiting to give you an appointment.

@classybags4ever, congratulations! It is especially unforgettable to get lucky on your first experience in FSH! I share your excitement! Love to see your reveal!

This thread has been so helpful for me that I wanted to share my experience as well. I've never really thought about getting a Birkin or Kelly bag due to hassle it took to attain one through a store. When I was in Paris this past week, I decided to give it a try at Faubourg Saint-Honoré after reading this thread.

I decided that I would try for a Birkin last Thursday (2/16) in Paris. I arrived on line around 8:45am at the front entrance with about 3 groups ahead of me (about5 or 6 people total). Once the store opened, people made their way quickly to the appointment area in the back. A lot of people from the side door got ahead of me but I was still able to make a 11:20 am appointment. I walked around the area for a little bit before heading back into the store. I received a text at 11:10 that my SA was ready and met with a sweet french lady upstairs. She asked me what I was looking for and I gave her a list but told her I was unsure of the size of the Birkin since I've never tried one on. Since I'm tall, I told her I would like either a 35cm or 40cm. She offered me some beverages and went about to look for the bags. I waited a couple of mins before she came back and asked me to go with her to a private room. There she showed me one of the choices I wanted which was a 40cm Togo black Birkin with gold hardware. It was such a beautiful bag, however, it was too big for me... I asked if she had this combo in 35cm and she said no :( I then asked her what other colors were available in 35cm and she mentioned gold, some reds and oranges. I then asked her if she had any darker shades in general and she said she will search for me and left to go look again. She came back after a couple of mins and presented me the 35cm Togo Raisin Birkin! I looked the bag over and tried it on and decided this was the one! It seems like they received a stock of the Raisin Birkins recently since another poster here just got one too :)

As a side note, I wore all black and a Stutterheim raincoat. This is my first ever Hermes purchase.

Hope this helps all you ladies visiting Paris soon!

Beautiful! Congratulations! It does seem like bags come in similar colors around the same time and sometimes in similar color families-reds blues etc.
