@classybags4ever Great bag! I got my bag on the same day! I wonder how many more people got raisin that week? Enjoy your bag

Thanks! @Somogyi03 Congrats on your bag too! Raisin is indeed beautiful, and i heard togo will keep it's shape better than clemence.
So it seems like 3 of us TPFers got birkins from FSH on the same day (this past Saturday)? Two raisin/togo and one clemence/toffee. Maybe Saturday is a good day to try after all?

I got my bag on Thursday but I bet they shipped more on Saturday too. I'm so happy everyone was able to get what they wanted.

I want to thank the ladies on this board for their stories. My story is long! I arrived in Paris late in the afternoon. The FSH is a short walk from the Park Hyatt so I went over shortly after I checked in. I purchased a drag bracelet with rose gold hardware. I told the SA I was interested in some Twillies so we walked over to the scarf section. After picking a couple of Twillies I asked if there were any more leather appointments for the day. Unfortunately, there were none, but I knew chances my chances were slim.

The next day I arrived at the store around 10:15. The lines on the side and front were probably at least 20 people deep. I joined the line at the front of the store. The line moved fairly fast once the doors opened. They were very good about directing you were to go for leather appointments. They took a picture of my passport and got my contact info so they could send a text with my appointment time. I was scheduled at 3:45, which was perfect since it gave me time to do some other shopping.

My appointment time moved up a few times, but I ended up with my original appointment time. Since I was early, I walked around the men's section looking for a pocket square, and then just sat down to wait for my appointment. My SA was very direct, not much small talk. She asked what I was looking for. I told her, a Birkin 30 or 35 in blue sapphire or blue nuit in Togo leather or a Kelly 28 or 32 in epsom. She asked if the bag was for me, had I shopped in this store previously, would I be interested in anything else, and was this my first Birkin? "Yes, yes, Twillies and a scarf and yes." She was off! My heart began to race. Time moves so slow while waiting. I was thinking she was sitting back there drinking tea, getting ready to tell me there were no bags.

She came back with a big orange box in her hands and asked me to follow her. Huh, what, me? Really? OMG, OMG!! We went upstairs and she was telling me there were no 30 or 35 in blue but they have different oranges. My heart sank a little! She opened the box and she pulled out a beautiful Birkin 35, raisin in Togo leather! Yay! She thought that would be a great first bag for me and I totally agreed! Afterwards she warmed up and we talked about lots. She was great! The experience was very nice. Good luck to all those who give it a go.

Congratulations!!! Raisin is so beautiful, and its chameleon to me, changes with the light and outfit. Please enjoy the rest of your trip

This thread has been so helpful for me that I wanted to share my experience as well. I've never really thought about getting a Birkin or Kelly bag due to hassle it took to attain one through a store. When I was in Paris this past week, I decided to give it a try at Faubourg Saint-Honoré after reading this thread.

I decided that I would try for a Birkin last Thursday (2/16) in Paris. I arrived on line around 8:45am at the front entrance with about 3 groups ahead of me (about5 or 6 people total). Once the store opened, people made their way quickly to the appointment area in the back. A lot of people from the side door got ahead of me but I was still able to make a 11:20 am appointment. I walked around the area for a little bit before heading back into the store. I received a text at 11:10 that my SA was ready and met with a sweet french lady upstairs. She asked me what I was looking for and I gave her a list but told her I was unsure of the size of the Birkin since I've never tried one on. Since I'm tall, I told her I would like either a 35cm or 40cm. She offered me some beverages and went about to look for the bags. I waited a couple of mins before she came back and asked me to go with her to a private room. There she showed me one of the choices I wanted which was a 40cm Togo black Birkin with gold hardware. It was such a beautiful bag, however, it was too big for me... I asked if she had this combo in 35cm and she said no  I then asked her what other colors were available in 35cm and she mentioned gold, some reds and oranges. I then asked her if she had any darker shades in general and she said she will search for me and left to go look again. She came back after a couple of mins and presented me the 35cm Togo Raisin Birkin! I looked the bag over and tried it on and decided this was the one! It seems like they received a stock of the Raisin Birkins recently since another poster here just got one too

As a side note, I wore all black and a Stutterheim raincoat. This is my first ever Hermes purchase.

Hope this helps all you ladies visiting Paris soon!

Another raisin?! OMG look at that stunner
Made me considered a trip myself! congratulations & thank you for sharing your story!

Raisin is such a beautiful purple shade. It's such a chameleon color, just like other Hermes colors, it changes with the lighting. My fist Kelly 32 from FSH was Raisin

with gold hardware, i adored it so much. Pay attention to the sweet light purple stitching. You'll fall deeper in love each time you stare at it. Enjoy your new baby in good health

Stunning gorgeous! Congrats!!!

I was in Paris last week and made a quick trip to FSH in the afternoon, I was looking for a pair of shoes and also thinking about whether or not I wanted another bag. I decided to go look for the shoes and then see how I feel afterward about trying to get an appointment. The shoes I wanted were not on display. A really kind SA helped me and I showed her a picture of the shoes on my phone. She looked on her phone at the stock available and thought she had some in the back. She returned and I am happy to report that I got the shoes I wanted!!! I was so happy. Afterward I decided I would go downstairs and possibly ask for an appointment. While the store was quiet and pleasant, all of the staff were assisting customers, so I just decided to wait close to the leather area until someone freed up. A man walked by and asked me if I needed help and I asked if i needed to make an appointment and he said yes and then left without any other assistance. I decided not to bother with trying to get a bag this trip.

I was happier with the vibe in FSH this time though. It was a lot quieter than on my last visit. The shoes SA was great and the cashier was super nice as always.

Congrats to all who scored bags! It looked like a great week for bags. I wonder if the reds mentioned were Rouge Casaque?

Wonderful story and pics- I'm enthralled! I'm actually going to Paris for the first time in April and will likely want to get your advice managing the appointment system and other FSH dynamics!

I went in April last year and got a bag. It was the old system though so not the same. Good luck!

You do need to be warned however that visiting April in Paris can be habit forming...
