To clarify - my boyfriend only showed up after the sales associate took my request and left to go look. He got there moments before the SA came back with a big box :) There was no way I could get my boyfriend to wait with me for that long in the cold. I'm surprised he even stayed for the appointment! So I know I got the first offer on my own.

thtas good to hear; i m going t paris in march wasnt sue if i must take my bf there :)

Just wanna share my experience..went to hermes fsh last feb 16. I came there a little early before 9 am.. I must say waiting for 1 1/2 hours was tough.. unfortunately, wasn't able to get what I want which is a birkin 30.. the sa told me no birkin for today and offered me another bag which was garden party in bordeux color, but I declined since I really wanted to buy birkin.. she told me to go back on Saturday..I don't know why, but it was Thursday when I went there.. I'll still try my luck this coming week..

You can be offered a bag if you are a solo shopper. I was there this week and was offered a birkin on my first try. I had shopped in the store the previous day and purchased a bracelet and 2 twilly's. However, it was to late in the day for a bag appointment. So the next day I was able to get an appointment . Good luck
