I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

Thanks everyone! Does anyone know if etoupe and etain are in production or are those older colors? I'm trying on Saturday! SO excited!

I was offered a B35 in Etain w/PHW. It was too big so I was then offered B30 in Étoupe w/PHW. This was just this past sat at FSH so I would assume they are still getting them in stock? (Although I can't figure out how to read the new date stamps so I don't really know if it was just produced)

haha I love that you are blue focused. I got my grey Birkin a few months ago and now wanted a dark blue....
what is the dark blue in season for this year?

I think bleu nuit is still in production. Bleu sapphire can be considered fairly dark too.

Yes, but according to my SA only in evercolor, so if you like this leather as I do, then it is worth looking into.

Thanks for the info! Yes I like evercolor too.

Oryx, you are right! Your photo is too enabling and that color kept popping up in my mind! [emoji23]

I checked with my SA. She has classic color Bearn with permabrass hw but does not have Malachite and not sure if this color is coming.

If you are not able to locate malachite I would suggest looking at blue paon in chèvre as it is very similar to malachite. I have a compact vertical azap in blue paon chèvre and it is different than in other leathers, a bit more muted.

I have repeatedly tried to take a pic to add here but the color is nowhere near reality no matter which light I try. Maybe you can pop in to the store and look . If I manage to capture the color, I will PM you.

Hermezzy, I suggest Le Bristol Hotel which is practically next door to FSH or a short block away. We have stayed there numerous times and it has always been a wonderful experience. :hugs:

My fave hotel!

I got a bag!!!! I'm so excited. I know everyone has told their stories so I have to share mine. I know I read this thread a million times before I gave it a try.

Line - showed up a little after 9, went to side door line. Was 7th in line but a few people had their significant others on the front door line so it wasn't quite as many as it seemed.

Entrance - doors opened at 10:30, security checks your bag and then people just rush ahead of you in a mad dash for the sales associates. It seemed like people from front door all rushed in the same direction. Can't say that one door was better than the other. I just followed the masses. A couple cut in front of me. A sales floor assistant asked me if I was with them, I said no and then she introduced me to my sales associate who took me upstairs and took my list. (No appt was made - perhaps because I arrived early?)

Offerings - he came back with a B35 in etain and I felt it was too big. He said he didn't think he had a 30 in that color but my boyfriend convinced him to look. He came back with a B30 in étoupe w/PHW. My first choice of colors!!! We ended up looking at some twillys and small wallets. He also showed me a ghilles kelly wallet in ostrich and a jige in raisin.

I ended up with the B30, a fourbie, a dogon duo in capucine and my bf got a small card wallet.

Service - amazing. They served me tea on arrival in the main room on the second floor and moved us to the leather room when he got the boxes. They served us champagne after we selected the B30.

Here is the bag!
