Hey, Fellow TPFers!

I am going to FSH for the 2nd time in my life next week (my first visit was before the new system) and had some questions prior to going!

1. I know there is a side door and a main door, which is the best one to wait in front of??

2. What time should I go if I want to be first in line? 8am? 7:30am? I will be super jet lagged anyways, so will be able to wake up early!

3. My HG is a B 25,30 Croc but I know those are really hard to get as a non regular, so I will be looking for a B or K in a smaller size in a natural or dark color. Some say that George V would be a better choice for one to get croc since I am open to extra purchases. Do any of you have any advice on the George V store? I did actually score my last B from this store as a walk in by doing some extra purchases.

4. My cards always fail me when doing large overseas transactions (lol), so I will be bringing 7k euros in cash (not really plan on buying a croc, expecting about 12-15k in total purchase worth B) and plan to do the rest on my card. But then some say that H is hesitant to take cash. Is there any truth to this rumor??

Thanks and happy searching and stay warm!

September last year I paid for my K with around 5500€ and the rest on my card. I'm not actually sure of the actual amount but it was completely fine

No luck for me today either. I got to FSH around 8:30 this morning and there were about 13 people in front of me already waiting. Once the store was open I was able to get an appointment around 11:20. I browsed around different departments and my appointment time moved up to 10:45. I asked for Kelly 28 or 32 in neutral colors such as black or etoupe or Gris or pop colors like rouge casaque. Sales associate said there were no bags available. My fiancé and I ended up buying one watch each and a belt for him as well as CDC bracelet. Tomorrow is my last chance to try before we leave Paris. Hoping for better luck tomorrow.View attachment 3537110View attachment 3537111

To continue my story, on Friday my fiancé picked out a watch that he liked after browsing. I also tried on a few watches and was unsure of which watch to pick as I liked several designs. We decided to take a lunch break and enjoy some sites. We returned in the evening and after trying on the watches again, I made my final decision. We paid for the watch and other items we had picked out earlier in the day. Even though I knew it would be unlikely, I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask if there were any sales associates available in the evening. We waited briefly and to my surprise, there was a sales associate who was able to assist us. Again I stated the same preferences for handbags from the morning. After about 10 minutes, she came back to say there was nothing available. The next morning, I woke up early and was one of the first few people in line. When the doors opened at 10:30am, we walked into the store and my fiancé ran into the same sales associate that had assisted us with handbags the previous evening! She took down my preference list again and went away for about 15-20 min. When she came back she was carrying a few boxes, one much larger than the others, and asked us to go to a private room. When she unveiled the bag I started tearing a little since I was so happy. She revealed a kelly 32 in rouge vif! I tried on the bag and knew it was the one. I also picked out some twillies and bag charms to go with my new bag.View attachment 3540004
