My cards always fail me when doing large overseas transactions (lol), so I will be bringing 7k euros in cash (not really plan on buying a croc, expecting about 12-15k in total purchase worth B) and plan to do the rest on my card.But then some say that H is hesitant to take cash. Is there any truth to this rumor??

George V has been my 'home' store whenever I visit Paris for the last few years. If you are open to extra purchases and building a long term relationship, George V is a lovely place to shop. Stock is of course smaller than fsh but service is impeccable. I'm sure they will take cash too.
Being a regular and spending helps in getting exotic skinned bags.

When she unveiled the bag I started tearing a little since I was so happy. She revealed a kelly 32 in rouge vif! I tried on the bag and knew it was the one. No bag today either, although we were first few in line before the long line up formed...Surprisingly there was no phone appointment given out. Everyone was let in and then served one after the other. I was told that my specific combo of bag is very rare to come by... Hahaha, just like what i'm told at my home store.

At least, got a chance to wish mcpro good luck, and she did it! Woohoo for a tPF'er to score her dream bag!

Off to have some yummy lunch to deal with my ongoing jet lag!
