This bag has come up for discussion before but with no luck for a style or name. I have a larger version of this bag with the same handles that is called the Boat Tote. They seemed to make variety of totes in the late 70s, early 80s. Would love to have that list!I have been looking at the catalogs and I couldn't find this bag (I might have missed it), could you please help? TIA
About 14 x 9 inches. NYC made.

Someone, not Coach, added the strap. The leather edges don't look finished and Coach wouldn't have used rivets. I wonder how it looks when carried. The bag is a little long to have the straps attached at the ends, might make the bag fold in the middle. I'd probably use mine more if it did have a strap but I wouldn't alter it.Does anybody have any comments on this? A watermelon kiss lock bag with a crossbody strap.
This is pre-serial so it is possible Coach made this but also someone could have added this at a shoe repair? The strap looks authentic from the pictures.

Yeah I was thinking that too, the leather "attachment" on the side looks unfinished. Coach has brass hooks to hook the lobster clasps, this is raw leather. The strap looks like a Coach strap to me.Someone, not Coach, added the strap. The leather edges don't look finished and Coach wouldn't have used rivets. I wonder how it looks when carried. It's not 60s. Anything with a creed number can't be older than late 70s. I can totally believe that people at Coach would give out incorrect information as they aren't trained for that. It is based on a Bonnie Cashin design. This is a 1983 catalog picture.Hi all, does anybody have any experience with this tote? Apparently the "standard tote 9680"? I can't find this in any old catalog.
This listing claims it is a vintage 60s bag.
I think I saw one of these in a consignment store window here.
There is a lightweights color called ivy. It could be that. I don't think loden was used for lightweights.Hi all, I am looking for help in identifying the COLOR of this Authenticated Wooster.
This bag is green, but not bottle green, unless this is what faded bottle green looks like. The problem is when I photograph it, it looks blue in the photos, this is not blue.
Could it be........ Olive? They did not make this in olive as far as I know. What about that color "Loden"? I don't know what Loden looks like.
I know I need outside photos and these are inside with flash so huge problem right there. But we are having a cats and dogs rainstorm here. I actually want to get a lab puppy so I am looking out the window to find one falling from the sky, but so far only chihuahuas.
Thanks, never heard of Ivy.There is a lightweights color called ivy. It could be that. I don't think loden was used for lightweights.
That looks like ivy. This is the best picture I have of it. Wooster is a lightweights style so you need to only look at Lightweights color charts rather than color charts for classic bags. Thanks, never heard of Ivy.
I found this old Etsy listing that they call a "Green" Wooster. Mine might be this color if I can get some pictures in better lighting.
All I know is this bag is not Bottle Green. Bottle Green is brighter.
