Do you guys know how often they lower the prices at the outlet? They have bags there from 20-70% off, but not sure why some are less discounted than others or when that changes. I tried asking a SA but didn’t get an answer… She insisted they don’t sell anything less than 30% off, but I bought one so…

What do you think about this bag? Saw it at the outlet but it was not deeply discounted (~$1500, about 20% off). They had a bucket bag version too but it was more expensive (maybe $1890) and small.

I quite like it, but not sure if it is too similar to the Denim Dionysus Shoulder bag as to be sort of redundant (much larger, of course)

20% isn't enough of a discount. This isn't something I would buy regardless of the price, but I would expect it to be at least 50% off.

I can't be bothered to login, but it looks fab.

I have to say its really short sighted if TRR to make people have to login in this day and age. !st Dibs and (I think) VC stoped that stupidity years ago. I know what the do it (to track your movements on the site to sell on the data) but it must really impact spontaneous browsing/shopping. Most retail pre-loved business is from spontaneous shopping.

I don't know it, maybe Made for Outlet unless it was an exclusive somewhere else - Asia(?). So it would be a 20% off an outlet price. It's really pretty though. Maybe someone else remembers it in-store?.

IMO, the price was too high to begin with or not high enough to be able to discount at more to allow outlet shoppers to think they grabbed a bargain.

A Large Ophidia Tote from the mainline stores is $1650, so it's a bit like 20% off a comparable bag, nothing to compensate for it being a MfO bag BUT it's very cute and I think quite special in a casual way.

I did ask and was told it was a boutique bag, not Made for Outlet. I think you are right about it likely being an Asia exclusive though because the only pictures I could find from the collection seem to be from Asia. Being rather an unusual find does increase its appeal to me, but the price is just a bit high I think…

Thanks, that's really interesting. Possibly the only way of getting those bags that were exclusives in a certain territory is through an outlet later.

If it doesn't represent value for money right now, I'm sure it'll be reduced further if it doesn't sell so I'd keep an eye.
