Italist has a brand new Gucci 1955 Horsebit Shoulder Bag in black for sale for $2,300. That's $1,100 off retail price, which is $3,400 + additional tax. Has anyone bought from Italist before? Is it legit? And is this type of deal rare? I have seen the bag pop up a few times on Italist over the last few months - they usually have one of these bags for sale at a time, then it's purchased and a new one appears - and I can't tell if that's sketchy or not. I almost bought a Gucci medium ophidia tote on sale for $1100 but took too long to order and the price went back up to 1900. I don't know if they are sketchy or not but I would have given them a try for the price.
