Taking my Queen B to work today. BTW, do you all take off the twillies prior to storing your BF?View attachment 4188594

Mine hasn’t seen the inside of a box yet but I’m gonna leave mine on. Doesn’t seem worth the effort of off and on. But my SA did insist I lay her on her side when in storage so it doesn’t start to sag in the front.

I like your Twillies! Are they new? I got a couple for My BF a few days ago but didn’t see that one. Droool!

I take mine off. My fear was that the bag would patina but the handles would not if I left them on for extended periods. Just a crazy thought, but I agree taking them on/off is a pain. I haven’t noticed patina one way or the other really yet so not sure that it matters.

Yes, these twillies are from this season. Thank you.

I will take them off tonight then. I was so proud of myself that I finally got the twilly tying skills right. My SA used to tease me that I needed to visit her whenever I wanted to change twillies.:graucho:

No, because I just hate twilly tying. I get so frustrated if the ends don’t match up. If the handle color ends up being lighter oh well I just may never find out because that twilly is on for life. Kidding aside, I will have the twillies on for awhile then take it off to let the leather breathe a bit. But definitely, my twillies stay on longer than off. I think I can deal with lighter handles than dark dirty ones. Maybe I can provide an update in this thread on how the handles will look in the future.

I took mine off tonight. Maybe it is completely psychological. But I think the handles are slightly lighter than the rest of the bag.

Ok I’ve been obsessing about how to accessorize my BF and kinda stressed about the orange/red undertones of the leather because it’s so unfamiliar to me (always a black bag kinda gal). UNTIL NOW!! I think your orange rodeo and twillies are the PERFECT solution/combination. It really celebrates the unique color and skin tone of the leather which for some reason had me so stumped. Siiigh. To think I’m usually pretty darn good with color!! Thank you for the inspiration!!

Aawwww thank youuu.... [emoji847]

I’m sure it’s psychological haha. Eyes playing tricks. Maybe just let it have a breather without them over night for a few days? Twillies are such a pain, but my BF is the reason I adopted the “side pony” adaptation of the twilly application - so much faster!! (see below). I really have nothing to go off of yet that it would change the patina, but I asked that question on this forum when I got mine and the consensus seemed to be that it was possible. Agree that light handles are better than dark! This leather just hasn’t been around long enough to know for sure.IMG_2670.jpg

Queen B is now lying naked in the box on her back. I will wake her up next week and let her sunbathe a little. ;-)

Do you store yours upright? Or lie it down like my SA told me to do. What about overnight and your stuff is still inside? Yours looks so perfect! I don’t want a slouchy B....
