Thanks to @houseof999 for posting a listing for a Bleecker Legacy Tattersal Flat Front bag. I've been looking to rehab one of these bag and I was able to purchase it for $15.

For those tPFers who have rehabbed this bag or one similar, one is this the best method for this leather? It has a lot of scratches, but the inside is relatively clean.

Do a search here for Carbird9’s posts. Her and another member were posting on rehabbing this very bag , maybe two months ago.

Here's my post on dunking a 11419 Bleecker Leather Large Flap:
Coach Rehab and Rescue Club

Hey all! I've previously restored leather furniture and wanted to attempt restoring my vintage leather Coach purse that I've carried for the last nine years. I've done the research, but there's so much out there. Just a couple questions...

1. I've read to dunk in warm water with Dawn. Is there anything else I should add?
2. I've used Fiebings in the past to redye leather. I'm seeing mixed results here. What's your favorite leather dye for coach?

Thank you!
Welcome! It would be beneficial if we knew what bag you are going to rehab. I really don't like dyeing vintage bags at all. Usually the rehab is enough to restore color. There isn't a dye that I'm completely happy with. They all change the texture and sheen.

Thanks! It's a black 9812. In decent shape, just looking dull and I'd love to refresh it. It's my everyday bag.

I have a couple others that I'd like to refresh as well, in a variety of colors, but that one needs the most love.

Today was Coach bathtime! I used Dawn and some vinegar in the final rinse.

The City was especially gross, the water was so brown. The grime on the flap seems better. It had been very well loved, so even a little improvement is a success in my book.

The discoloration on the briefcase is about the same. When it dries I'll try acrylic paint. Can I use craft store black acrylic and mix it with leather CPR and apply it with a sponge?

Yes, you can use craft store acrylic but be aware that it doesn't have the same sheen as the leather. Using small amounts is fine but too much will make it look dull. You could add a little gloss medium to counteract this, or you could use puff paint. Puff paint is usually glossier than regular craft acrylic. They might have a gloss version of the craft paint.

Do the rehab that is described many places in this thread. Make sure you have the right conditioners on hand before you start. It is important to start conditioning before the bag is completely dried out after the bath. Black bags usually rehab very well. Wait until you are completely done conditioning before you decide if you need to add color. Usually the most you'll need is a bit of acrylic paint mixed with conditioner around the edges.

Thank you, I'll definitely find a glossy medium for use on other future rehabs. This bag has a large area of discoloration on the front flap and it would probably be pretty noticable if the sheen is wrong. I have "sacrificed" it for practice (if you can call it that, since it's wrecked).

I can't adequately put into words my gratitude for all your assistance. This forum is amazing!

Nice find! It's probably a Pocket Purse #9755:

Are you planning to do a couple of coats of conditioner, such as Leather CPR, before the Blackrock?

Can't wait to see how it turns out!
@Catbird9 I referred back to this post because a friend of mine is on the hunt for this bag in the green color and I remembered you had posted this catalog photo when I found mine in BT. Do you know if it came in more than one green color? And what the color(s) was/were officially named for green? TIA!

The greens that the Pocket Purse might have come in are:
1990-1992 - Forest Green
1993-1997 - Bottle Green
