:girlsigh:I've had my Kelly (Retourne 28cm Dark Chocolate PH) for 2 yrs now and I have to say I've worn it twice to dinner at the Peninsula Hotel and to an outdoor wedding in Bel Air. I'm a jeans/jacket gal so the Birkin looks more appropriate for me on a daily basis. However, now that I've seen how lovely Renee Zellweger wears her croc kelly with a thick strap across her shoulder as well as Rose and Shopmom, I'l definitely have to bring the fellow out of his orange sleeper more often . :yes:

No I live in the country and tend to use LV when here , the kellys I tend to use when getting the train to London
But I do think to myself , I should use them more
but one is box calf and the other ostrich
and in the country theres not much call for it

No, unfortunately. Not as often as I should. Since I tend to be more casual these days, I use my Trim for everyday. But when I get dressed up -- suit, heels, pearls, etc. -- then out come the Kellys.

When I first bought my Kelly, I thought it was the biggest pain in the neck, but it looks so ladylike and professional, and I love the shoulder strap. So, it takes a little longer to open and close, I love it!

I LOVE my Kelly and, yes, use it daily..it's chevre and I absolutely love everything about it....even when I'm 'dressed down', the Kelly makes me feel elegant.....I adore her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ardneish, use her more!!! I can totally visualise you in the train with your box kelly - and a H scarf around the neck ... :nuts: :p

I think I watch too many movies already :sweatdrop:

I actually started off with a Kelly. I have got a Birkin too and find it handy but it does not give me that special 'Grace Kelly' feel!

I use my Kelly's almost every day actually......Each one gets its turn with the Toile/Blue Marine Kelly actually being swapped out with the Gold Togo Birkin during the Spring/Summer months.

I brought my Rouge H Birkin to NYC last week and wound up using the Vert Olive 28cm Kelly everyday after I purchased it!!!! That shoulder strap is indespensible!!!!!!!
