Coach Rehab and Rescue Club

This is an impulsive buy. Only reason because price is low, but forgot shipping to Canada is not cheap, lol. End up with $50 total. Wish this is the last time I will do stupid things like this. It has bad piping damaging, I figured best to address the pipping problem before dunk.
These are the steps of repair:
1. Remove about 2” stitches around damaged area.
2 Cut 2 small leather pieces and skive them thin, bigger piece go under the pipping, smaller piece is to fill up the area pipping is missing.
3.Use contact cement glue the leather pieces and pipping together.
4.Dye the added leather piece, and stitch back the pipping.
Now need to wait for dye to settle then dunk. Probably will need to redye the repaired part as color is not a good match, or touch up with paint after rehab.
ETA: used needle to poke some small holes on the added leather, as the texture was too smooth.

You are amazingly skilled! I can't wait to see the end result!

Can anyone recommend a "leather cleaner" that can get that, kind of, ground in dirty look, to lighten up a little. My yellow compact pouch was washed the usual way with dawn and a little horse hair brush, suede tuned out great, but the outside still looks dingy. Any suggestions, or it just is what it is?

I think with lighter colors that is just the way it is. Sometimes the color of the leather shines through the color. Maybe a light coat of color would help.

Thanks for your advice. It's the Chamberlain's which came last night, waiting on Saphir to arrive:sad:. Even though I gave it a scrub with cleaner, it's been regurgitating the Chamberlain's in some areas and it has another white crusty look to it right now, and feels a bit rubbery.

I'm to blame - I was rightfully heavy-handed with the super dry Court but I got too excited and went at the casino with the same energy when it probably only needed maybe a few thin coats! Needless to say, I'm not filled with confidence from my first rehab attempt! It's gone south since they dried after dunking but I'm hoping redunking will help this situation.
Is it the chamberlains healing balm? I’ve had this happen with two bags now and I suspect that as the culprit (the only other products I used on those bags was CPR and blackrock and I’ve never had trouble with those). I noticed a white flakey residue on my Helen’s legacy and just did a quick re-dunk with vinegar and dish soap, wiping the whole bag gently to open the pores, and the leather felt so much better afterward. I conditioner with CPR and finished with blackrock and it’s lovely.

Hey ladies and guys

I’m about to wash my bellacourt in British tan. My question is, can I condition it was leather CPR while it’s wet?

thanks!

The best time to use CPR is while the bag is wet. I’ve started coats as early as an hour after dunking depending on how fast the bag is drying. Coat the bag, let it soak for a few minutes & then wipe off the excess. Repeat every few hours. < This is what I do, but others might have a different process

Hi ladies, super happy today - it's sunny and warm... and also my BT casino arrived a week early! No CPR so still can't dunk anything☹ but is this normal? The back of the flap and some of the inside is all weird and flat. Very smooth and flat which you can see contrasted with the fluffy restored red one @Busykitty sold me. I'm assuming it fluffs and plumps back up after a good dunk and scrub? I don't have the flatness with my unrehabbed Court.

My newest bag - the Legacy Zip - also has smooth raw leather on the inside. My guess is that it was much more lightly used than the others.

I second this method.
