I bought my first dooney back in Junior high in 1988. I don't buy them anymore. The quality is not the same and I don't care for their designs. I like a well rounded collection. I looking at a bottega now.
My first designer bag was a Longchamp leather tote however I've only bought one other Longchamp since - mainly because I haven't really liked any of the other Longchamp styles other than the one I first bought.
My first was a Fendi and I haven't bought one in YEARS. Not that I'll never buy another since I do still like them, I just haven't seen one I cannot live without. I am currently on a Gucci kick, but that could end anytime since I am so fickle
Juicy Couture was my first "designer." I have about 10 bags from them and love them all, but my taste has grown. I don't buy much of their bags anymore
I was the one and only person who bought a B-Bag first but probably won't buy another. Only because the style is the same.
Someday if I get bored of the color I would sell it and buy a different one. But I have no desire to own the same bag in different colors. There are too many gorgeous bags out there to do that!
Vuitton was my first and I still buy it. Not in the quanities I used to buy it in though. I went through a time where I was buying a few each month. They just haven't come out with anything lately (with the exception of the Neverfulls) that I'm just dying to have.
Coach was my first, then onto LV, Balenciaga (never left), Chanel, Hermes (just dabbled), Belen Echandia. Now it's mostly Balenciaga and Belen Echandia.
Started with Dooney still buy Dooney. My First was a "It" bag it was purple with the rainbow db and rainbow zipper, bought several years ago. I sold it last year along with the matching wallet and the second designer bag i ever bought (dooney as well) and ever since i sold both i wish i'd have kept them all.
My first big bucks bag was the Marc Jacobs Stella.
I loved that bag so much and it was so expensive for me that I hardly ever used it. I swore that I'd never let it go. Sadly, I just shipped her off for sale, as I finally determined that I needed the room and if she could bring in a few dollars it would be better than continuing to sit in the closet!
