Coach was my first and I no longer buy them and eventually sold all I had.

Along the way I added Kate Spade and Michael Kors. I no longer buy them either. I sold all the KS. I still have one MK that I’m thinking of selling.

First premier brand was Prada. I still have all but one of these bags and plan to keep them but I no longer buy the brand.

Now I primarily have bought and wear Dior, Chanel and to a lesser extent Gucci. I do have “one off” bags from other premier designers.

Going forward I think I’ll primarily stick with Dior and Gucci. I don’t see me buying a lot more Chanel. I may possibly add in a couple more LV leather bags (not canvas). And I would like to add a Bal. Hermes is somewhat interesting to me but I’m not yet sold as the styles aren’t exactly “me”.

But, while I’m partial to certain brands, I am very open to buying whatever bag I like as long as it has style staying power and relatively good resale value.
A Bal! :drinks: Anyone in particular? I dare you to insist you'll add just one!

My first was Dooney. I still buy them but I’ve become enchanted with Brahmin the last few years, so they get most of my attention and dollars now. My first premier designer was Louis Vuitton and I still love them. I’d like to get a preloved Chanel within a year or two. The one Bal I had I’ve given to my daughter. Loved the edginess of the motorcycle city bag, but it wasn’t the right style for me and I stopped using it so when she was here last month, I gave it to her and she loves it. I love the Hermes Kelly but I don’t ever foresee that in my budget.

My first designer bag was 1980s thick fabulous leather by Coach. My first premier was LV in early 2000s. I am considering exploring Coach again due to the quality of the 1941 line. I will no longer buy new LV due to quality as well.

My first was Gucci, a bamboo handle bag. Got it after my first big work bonus. More than 15 years later, I am returning to Gucci! The marmont camera bags caught my eye and the backpacks look great too! I am also enjoying their window display in the last two odd years.

1st designer - Longchamp Le Pliage ca 15 yrs ago, 1st high end - Mulberry Flight series in 2006. LC is still my favorite brand and I own several Mulberry bags which are all preloved. Haven't bothered with new Mulberry since the quality and designs took a nose dive.

First designer was a Dooney. It was a vintage bucket bag which I sold about a year ago. I just bought a new Dooney. So yes, I still buy the brand (although not as much as others). LV has become my first premier designer (Siena MM) and there is another LV that I'm eyeing (although I'll have to wait a while for it).

My first bags were from See by Chloe and Chloe. They were both very simple in design and extremely practical for daily use. The current styles are too frilly for me so I haven't purchased since 2012.
