My first designer bag was an Etitiene Aigner about one hundred.....make that two hundred years ago when they were made of the most gorgeous oxblood leather. And, no, I don't buy that brand anymore because it somehow got itself placed way up there with Nine West, Liz Claiborne, etc. And not that there is anything wrong with that either, but I've progressed a whole lot in my obsession over the years.

I started with Coach over two years ago, but I lost interest in the brand after just a few months.

I decided that I wanted unique, practical, stylish bags from a lesser known brand. That is exactly what I get with the Belen Echandia bags that I've been buying.

At the outlets you can get wrislets for $20-$30 which makes amazing gifts, so thats the reason I keep going back.

I always purchased Coach bags until I found TPF. Now I don't own any, but I still love to buy those wristlets as gifts because people love them. I don't care if the person is rich, poor, young, or old. They recognize and love Coach. I have noticed it doesn't even matter what the bag looks like, as long as they see the tag. I like Coach bags, I just hate running into people with the same bag.

My first was Coach with the original cowhide leather, which I think is still the best of Coach. Since then, they've become extremely trendy and gaudy with too many bells and whistles for a handbag. Also, it caters too much to the young teenage crowd (sorry, no offense) and just turns my stomach.

My first designer bag was LV & I don't buy LV anymore. For years, I kept on buying LV. Now, I don't even carry any of them. There are so many fake LV out there. I should sell them but such a hassle so they're just sitting in my closet.

I started with Brighton, in my 20s (in my 30s now). For some reason, the Brighton aesthetic has always appealed to me--they seem ageless and timeless, but beautiful and unique at the same time. I just bought another this weekend!

My first designer bag was a white Chloe Paddington.

At the time, I had to save up for it and was so happy when I got it. Sold it on eBay later because it was too heavy. Small loss, but not much.

I still buy Chloe today, but now I can actually afford it (please read the difference). Really loving this pacific blue Heloise I found..

My first "designer" bag was a juicy couture I bought when I was 17 (I thought it was soooo expensive then). My first real designer bag was either a badgley mischka or a Ferragamo since I bought them at the exact same time. From that moment on I was a ferragamo girl. I still buy Juicy and coach purses that catch my eye. I buy Ferragamos a few times a year but that has fallen off since I need to pay for law school tuition on my own. I buy some other brands here and there like Dior, Gucci, and a few Chloe bags. Overall though in the last year I haven't really bought much.

However I have kept a nest egg for two years to find that elusive Dolce and Gabbana "Miss New Easy Way". I found it two days ago... my life is complete at the moment.

Now that hermes birkin when I finish law school.....
