Technical clarification: are they still your SA if you’re taking the day off to attend their… funeral? 🥺🧐

Me making a beeline for the SM at the funeral, pointing at DW: sigh, so disrespectful for that woman to bring an etoupe Birkin today. They really should get a midnight faubourg Birkin to bring out their grief (yet with a dash of optimism) next time.

… and a little bit of red!
Red is actually the only color on all seasons’ color palettes (with orange undertones on warm palette and blue on winter palette). Black is a color in the winter palette. Gold is in the autumn palette.

Nowadays I mostly follow my color palette for clothes. It makes a huge difference. I sincerely recommend doing a color study if a person hasn’t done one yet.

So browns are on ban island? UO: one of my most beautiful bags is my vintage Drag in chevre cocoan. That brown is exquisite, with slight purple undertones, so not muddy at all. It's beautiful with black clothing.

No, never said brown is on ban island. I too love all shades of brown, chocolate, camel, etc. on bags, clothing, and the like. But I don't think it serves the same as black nor will it ever substitute it.

The only two colours you really need for leather goods are Noir and Gold. They will cater to all seasons and defy trends.

I wouldn't be surprised if Gold w/GHW is the second most requested combo after Noir w/GHW.
Adore noir and gold too and I do agree that they can pretty much fulfill every single wardrobe requirement, but sometimes it’s nice to have a little colour. Havane, ebene, chocolate are also great neutrals and so is trench and then of course a light pink is delicious… do not get me started on greens and blues…

The scarves styled as tops look more tacky than chic on most people. (Btw this comment was not inspired by anyone’s post, but more so from my own failed styling attempts)
The last time I tried to style a scarf as a top was some time in the last century and I was never confident enough to wear it out of the house.
