This will be a very UO. Generally I’m into neutrals like black and gold but Hermes does so many beautiful colors. And everyone these days seems to have a black or gold bag so my uo is if you want to add an Hermes bag don’t go for the colors everyone has - black gold or even etoupe. Be unique. Go for something seasonal. It can still be a neutral like a dark green or Caban.

I agree! That why I’m happy that my bag is in Bleu Nuit, such a neutral yet classic color, but not the usual H colors you see on social media like black, gold, etoupe and so on 🙈
I have to admit, from the sidelines I have been obsessed with burgundy lately... which I guess is part of the red family!
Bleu Nuit and even Bleu Indigo are my favourite blues. Such beautiful colours that almost look black. Enjoy your bag!
I personally think dark blue and burgundy could be interchangeable for those who don't like black, which can sometimes be a harsh contrast for those who are fair.
UO: I wear neutral colors and black is probably my least worn bag color
I don’t have a black bag (also not someone who gets invited to black tie events)
UO: boutiques need to start carrying more bags in color. After all no one does colors as well as Hermes.
I only own 2 black bags. I wear neutrals for the most part except during the summer. I live in a very warm/hot climate. It’s fun because we wear color and bright color year round.
UO: the only available options should be black, black, grey, navy, MAYBE burgundy and did I mention black?

For the last few years, dark brown has taken off... think Bottega's Fondant or Hermes Ebene Barenia Faubourg.
Doesn't help that the Pantone Colour of the Year 2025 is Mocha Mousse.
When people mention relationship with SA, they really mean business relationship. Yes, real friendships can arise over time with your SA over the years. But it's a job for them and they have sales goals to meet. I meet with vendors at work and yes, I have become friends with them over the years but it starts out as a business relationship.
My theory is that if they wouldn’t take a sick day from work to attend your funeral (and vice versa), it’s not a friendship.

I thought I was better than this, but turns out exposure therapy is real, and I've just placed an order on Amazon for three (?!) blind boxes of these...This may be very unpopular for some of you - clients who adorn their bags with one or more labubu dolls should be banned from owning another Hermes bag for life.

But, i still couldn’t get the classic gold /black chypres when they first came out and eventually contented myself with Birkenstocks lol
UO: No ulterior motive to being friendly or being friends with your SA ; it’s really only a comfort/ courtesy thing IMO
