So you're saying I need friends, hobbies, and goals beyond H to turn a bag into something emotionally fulfilling? Who has time for all that while being an active shopper, texting my SA daily to see if my dream bag has finally arrived, and re-organizing my closet for the fifth time this week so when my QB arrives, she has a special place to go?

/s in case anyone hasn't figured out my personality yet
Yes. It isn't me, it is the science.

:P:P:P

That’s funny. I can see why you got your own TV show hihi.

Another unpopular opinion: I think I definitely found purse peace at two bags. I do not need a whole collection. I am trying to live more minimalistic and USE everything i have.

“Things need to be used and people loved, not the other way around”- by someone

You aren't wrong - according to the social scientists and mick jagger - "you can't get no satisfaction" as in happiness the emotion is fleeting, but we like to chase it anyways. I am reading Arthur C Brooks and he breaks happiness into enjoyment (memory PLUS people)+Engagement with Family+Type of Friendships (REAL not transactional - transactional being you want something like you buy random and expensive stuff in order to make the SA like you)+Faith(A higher purpose, not necessarily religion, and not spending to beat the band)>>>> So in H terms happiness = Using your QB at dinner with family and friends to build memories with the people and events you associate with joy, and having a purpose that is more than scoring the next one!

You are so right. Love this!

I love this! Don't spend your time chasing "the next thing." You can spend your entire life waiting for the next whatever. Enjoy what you have.

Ah, but surely that depends on what you think is bag is for? Is a bag a means of showing status and/or wealth, or is a bag for carrying things?
A bag is a miracle AND a score that means both God and your "H fairy" have smiled upon you; carrying it is a sure path to happiness and makes you a better and more important human; and, crucially, once you have the bag, you get to tell everyone else how hard it is to get one.
Of course, I am only talking about Hermès and only "quota bags".

do I need /s ?

yes, this is yet another unpopular op ;) 🦆 🦆 🦆

Is this a UO? What the MK is saying I’m important enough to not need to carry a phone. Call my assistant.
Logical extension of not wearing a coat because you are never outside in the winter (due to car, driver, and said assistant who will of course hold any needed umbrella).
Extra points for exotic MK, because it will never rain on you.
(I know these qualify as UOs, because the MK is the most requested bag....)

I think mine is pretty unpopular, but I don't get the fascination with the picotin. Just doesn't so it for me. There, said it.
Agree. I don’t like that the interior is unfinished.

Here’s my latest unpopular opinion. I don’t like the constance in epsom. Over time or if you’re not super careful the bag gets striations along the top front and back of the bag. And everytime you open the bag there is more and more creasing. For an expensive bag why does it do this? Why do I need to baby this bag?

I’m grumpy and it’s late so…

I hate orange boxes and shopping bags. They look garish and discordant in the closet, and they scream “this is the thing worth stealing!” if you’re carrying them while shopping. I mean, yes, they have a reason for the color and all, and it’s a legacy thing, but I prefer to decline them at the store because at home they are clutter.

Why is Hermes content to be mediocre in a lot of categories?
Their jewelry is uninspired (okay, the enamel bangles and CDC are iconic, but what is up with the sterling and “fine” jewelry?!?) their makeup is acceptable but not exceptional, and I’m not even going to start on their shoes.
If you have a reputation as a créateur, why do you want to run a department store?
