Coach satchel I bought cause it was a seal, I don't think I really like it anymore.

Gucci eclipse tote, I love the bag but hate to carry it, very uncomfortable and a pain in the arse to keep clean.

Some old Fendi bags sitting in my closet that I have not looked at in at least 10 years......:shame:

I bought a Lambertson Truex from Gilt a while back. I have literally never taken it out of the dustbag. It looks vaguely like a Hermes, but it's this camel color I just can't get into.

Because I wanted a purchase at some point to be a Hermes Kelly, I can't decide if I should carry it in the meantime or sell it. I regret it. I just can't give it to anyone in the family, it's too expensive and they won't appreciate it (my mother is a Vera Bradley lady and my SIL thinks such things are stupid).

I brought a variety of LV Speedy's. As much as I love the style, they just don't work out! It's annoying. It's like a bottomless pit when it comes to finding a pen, keys, whatever. Now whenever I see one, I have to talk myself out of it because I have already sold the 4 that I did have.

I really regret a buying frenzy that I went on starting with the great Saks sale in November of last year. I just happened to be online when they cut prices 70% on many great bags. :D I snagged a couple of wonderful bags....and that's when it all started.

I thought, if Saks did this...maybe the others will follow. So for months I went online scouring NM, BG, Macy's, Nordstrom, Barneys. And they all did follow suit! I left all of the sites up on my computer and would check many, many times during the day. I figured out what's the best time to check. I noticed how bags would go back and forth between NM and BG (too long a story for this post, but interesting).

I realized that there were lots of people like me doing this and it was a competition between us....who would get the bag??!! :graucho:

I started ordering bags that I didn't even know if I wanted.....just to see if I would get them. Some of them I decided immediately after ordering that I didn't want. I called cs and cancelled them. Sometimes they made it to the house and I would know I didn't want them and turned around and shipped them back.  And then others I thought maybe I'll like it eventually ....the price was good...I should keep it.:wacko::wacko:

I regret all the time and effort I spent on this frenzy. What was I thinking? I ended up with a few wonderful bags for wonderful prices (MJ Stam, YSL Muse 2, Fendi Secret Code, and 3 beautiful Pradas) BUT I was consumed for months. Truly, it was months!

When I go back and re-read this post I think that most of the world would think I was out of my mind. Only here at TPF do I think I might find a few people who could understand that kind of insanity!!!

ssc0619, I don't judge you...I can totally see myself doing something similar, it's easy to get sucked in! I am happy that I was clueless about the 70% off bag sales, though...and if you ever get tired of that Stam, I can give her a good home, ha ha!

As for me, I regret the Coach bag that I got early this year (sold it), as well as virtually all of the Rebecca Minkoff bags that I have ever bought, with the exception of my black basketweave MAB, which I also eventually sold because I needed the money. I also regret the ruby red 08 Bal City and Bal rouille 06 First that I bought (too small, and had to sell them at a loss). Other than that, I don't have all that many regrets. ;)

one bag that i absolutely adore, but am sad about is my Miu Miu Bow in Alluminio. i don't regret buying the bag and i would never part with her, but she is so freaking high maintenance! for an expensive bag, the quality of the details is not great. all of the leather sealant is cracked, even on the handles, but most horrendously on the sides of the opening! the bows are very minimally coming apart and i'm ashamed to admit that i've superglued a tiny corner back together.
i love her to death, but i just wish the quality of the first season bows were better.

LP clutch. I don't even use any clutches. I was checking on my delivery status of another LP bag and then there was the LP clutch on sale. What's the use with it? That thing is so small. I thought I might use it for clubbing or occassionally carry a few items but I don't even club and I always need to carry my other essentials.

Black Gucci Indy bag with gold hardware - I loved it the first few months.. then it just turned tacky! To think i had thought about getting the white one too.... :wtf:

Also went through a phase of Guess bags and wallets.... NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I love this thread!

I have two regrets - the Fendi Spy (colour faded badly, leather wore away on the seams and it was the biggest pain to get into....). Sold it at a huge loss, but just couldn't bear looking at it in the end.Oh, and it smelt like a wet dog. *sigh*

The other is my pale pink lambskin Chanel classic flap. Way too small and attracts dirt like a magnet...

Orla Kiely. I love her design and even used her wallpaper in my kitchen. But handbags didn't work on me. Too cute? maybe. Better keep them on the wall. I ended up using for decoration.

Louis Vuitton Beverly GM. I obsessed about this bag, had to have it. Bought it and realized I hated this bag. It was too heavy, too much vachetta, got super dirty really quick and the handles started to peel a little which really angered me.
