I agree.. I went from a speedy to a city, and every time I reached in my bag was thinking "where is all the empty space??!!"

But I Find the city fits the perfect amount of stuff for me. And it's very very light!! I was so surprised by how pillowy light it was!

super light. every RH style bag except the weekender (the biggest style) is feather light. the GH bags are a bit heavier. i love the light weight of the day, work and twiggy styles. i don't own a city but tried it on several times, they are ultra light too. the part time is a great compromise between the city which is smaller and the work which is strap free.

I think a PF'er did some comparison weights on several of her bags... but I remember it being a little over 2 lbs. The bag that weighed the most with GH was the PT which weighted a little over 3lbs. (But, worn over the shoulder.. its not so bad)

The lightest of all of my bags is the fb Hobo. Without the mirror it weighs about 12 ounces. For the size of the bag, I was shocked at how weightless it was. I wish they would go back to making them with that leather.:crybaby:

so GH is def heavier than RH? Am thinking of either getting a city in GH or RH, the GH is more expensive but it looks nicer. I have scoliosis and Im 90lbs, if I get a GH I might not be able to carry it! I have a Caramel city 05 and it is a bit heavy already. oh my...

IMO the GH is def much heavier than RH. I recently traded my RH city for
a GH city. Even though I absolutely adore the GH city I am kind of regretting it because the bag is much more heavy to carry.:tdown:

^^ yikes, definitely don't get the GH city girl!!!...i don't have scoliosis, but i'm petite & have lower back trouble...i've bought & sold or returned 3 GH cities because they were too heavy...i love the look of them, but they're about 3 pounds empty (while an RH city is probably about 1 pound) :girlsigh:

I have a chloe silverado and i think it's a tad heavy for me...are balenciaga city bags heavy as compared to chloes or miu mius? I saw your beautiful balenciagas and i'm considering getting my first:shame:...will be getting either a bbag or miu miu but haven't decided yet...any ideas? Thanks!
