Some of my vintages, from the 80s and 90s, with exception of the kirigami pouch which was a store opening gifting from 2011.

Everything is this photo cost me $560USD total, bought in the past 15 months. My favourite is the key pouch with the curved top from 1988. And also the golf ball pouch. The modern key pouch is from 1994 I think, and the canvas is in tip top condition.

I just bought the Danube for USD$230, so will share soon!

Hi all,

This is my first LV vintage piece, a croisette in epi leather, colour lilac, from 2000. Lovely condition

Ive had it since august, but havent taken it out since (thats why the little white piece is showing, tags still attached)

Ive seen some of you also have this model, so I wanted to ask does the metal piece on the side (second photo) unlock? Mine is impossible to unlock, I thought it might be glued

Just bought a lime vernis Houston and I have a question for you as you seems to do rehab: do you know a brand of paint or pen that could help me conceal the little places where the vernis lift off, leaving tiny white spots? The kind of thing that can be found in a craft store I guess. TIA

I used nail polish. I found an Essie shade that matched mine, used just a tiny bit on the end of the brush and dabbed it in the chips. Did a great job. If you do it nice and thin, let it dry between, you can make it thicker to fill the chip completely in. You could also use a very thin artist’s brush for better control. A single coat will have a bit of sheerness, which may help the color blend better. Do a little at a time and stop when it is good. Shoot for “perfection” and that’s when you get into trouble.

This color blended perfectly with my bag, but it may not with yours since sun exposure can change the color (mine is a little olive toned.) Take the bag with you to a place that has a huge polish selection, like Ulta or Sephora, to find a match if this one isn’t quite right for your bag. I got this one at Target.image.jpgimage.jpg

Thank you for such a detailed answer! I will sure follow your advices. It is still in the mail and I am supposed to received it Monday. Can't wait to see it and the shade it developed with age (1999). Seems to be more gold toned on pictures.

If it is gold toned, like mine, then that color might be the right match! It has just the right amount of metallic sparkle to match the bags finish, which is not a flat color. That’s why polish works so well. High gloss and a bit of shimmer.

Just be sure to take the bag with you and be prepared....I got some looks while picking out the right shade, holding it up to my bag, but who cares? My bag looks perfect! That’s what matters.

Let me know if I can be of any more help. :)
