I don't think I've ever posted in this club before... !!
I (personally) consider a bag to be "vintage" if it is 20 years or older, but this is strictly my own opinion. Here is one of my vintage LVoelies that is in immaculate condition. I cannot imagine how the vachetta has remained so evenly perfect after all these years, except to say that the quality of the leather (super thick) was so much better back when it was made.

Here are a few of pics of my 45 yearold Speedy. I'm taking it to have the handle repaired and I'll take after pics when it comes back.
I wanted to add that the canvas feels different from the more recent ones: I have a canvas Sofia Coppola and it feels and looks smoother and shinier than this one.

Wow! You have taken amazing care of her. She’s gorgeous!!!! The patina is so even!

I have to admit that of all the ones I sold, I regret selling my Mono Speedy 30 the most. It had developed such a beautiful patina already! It’s such a classic, I think I justified it by thinking I’ll always be able to get one, especially in the preloved market where it already has the patina.
