@jbags07 ,
I have to say I agree with @Jan2024
It sounds like you've been searching for this bag for a while now and know what the second hand ones typically look like and this bag seems to be in excellent shape other than these minor imperfections. I'd condition that leather tab with some Cadillac Boot & Shoe leather lotion to prevent further cracking and maybe reach out to LV repair services in the meantime just to get a quote on what it would be to replace just that one tab, it might end up being worth it to you depending on what they quote. Even if you aren't near a store, it is super easy to initiate a repair request through the app.

It’s such a personal decision and how OCD you are. The bag is beautiful and looks to be in great condition other than this one tag. I think that I’d keep it and just have the tag replaced at some point. In the meantime I’d condition it really well so that it doesn’t crack anymore.
Thank you for your response! Its definitely a very personal decision, and usually i always decide myself if i need to return/keep a bag. This one i am 50-50 on tho. Your advice is very good, you made some excellent points, and i appreciate your input very much!

Thank you for your input on this! Usually i can make my own decisions but i am really torn on this one, hence the post. Most of these vintage denim speedys have issues, and this one does too but tye vachetta staining isn't very noticeable and the denim pretty good. There are 5 or 6 on FP right now and they are all much worse with one exception - the denim and vachetta are in amazing condition but there are 2 very noticeable stains on the right denim pocket and that would bother me more then the side tab cracking. After reading your and @jan2024’s posts, i am leaning now toward keeping it. I do live near an LV store but read that LV repair recently has damaged some peoples bags so that kind of scares me lol. Conditioning it for now should be ok and i will stop in the store and ask about repair/replacement options. Thank you again for your input, its much appreciated.
