Just got this beauty she’s 27 years old. I did condition her and now I’m paranoid. I over conditioned her lol any advice for an older Louis Vuitton bag? Awesome I’m curious if anyone has ever turned the speedy into a speedy be if you’ve taken it to a cobbler somewhere to have it done

Well, not anymore, but before LV became this massive global player, they allowed customers to order Bags from the Collections for example a Monogram Canvas Cabas Mezzo and make them for them in the material they wanted like Damier Ebene. It's called a Special Order or SO. Special Order Bags like the Saumur that were made in Damier Azur are hard to come by but the do exist, patience is virtue if you are looking for something like that.
Hoping to get some advice regarding a cracked side tab on a denim Speedy that just arrived from FP. I’ve wanted a denim Speedy forever and most seem to have so many issues. I bought this one b/c it looked pretty good. The spotting/staining on the vachetta isn’t too bad, and only minor fading with the denim. The listing did mention ‘cracks’ but of course the only side tab they showed in pix was the other, uncracked one.
I can always get it replaced down the road. But really do not plan to replace the vachetta on this one so - would you keep it? Or return it? Its on the side so not the central focus. Would it bother any if you? Or is it not too bad? I paid 1800 pretax. Most are over 2k, and while i would be ok paying 5-600 more for one is great condition, there are ones listed in that range with worse staining on the vachetta then on mine. Help! Any opinions are appreciated.

Cannot accept the cracks, return it for a better condition one. Or ask for some discount for not revealing the flaw
Thank you, i was second guessing b/c its so hard to find any w/o lots of issues! And i much prefer the vintage denim over the newer ones. I appreciate your feedback, better to return and keep looking.
It’s such a personal decision and how OCD you are. The bag is beautiful and looks to be in great condition other than this one tag. I think that I’d keep it and just have the tag replaced at some point. In the meantime I’d condition it really well so that it doesn’t crack anymore.
