I used magic eraser. I worked wonders.Stunning! How are you going to clean handles?
I have one in my Noe GM. It gets me some extra flat pouches for small stuff to find things faster and I wanted a collapsible compartment to stick my coffee mug/water bottle in it, so it stays in place. Also I like that the bag organizer helps keeping the shape of the bag (my shaper is only half the height of the bag). This is my vintage Noe GM. I’m obsessed! Question tho: how many of you use a bag organizer in a Noe? I’m torn between getting one or leaving her the way she is.
I just purchased a vintage Noe and I’m planning on getting a bag organizer for her. The inside of my bag is really really clean for a pre loved bag so the organizer will help keep it that way. Plus I loose everything in this type of bag lolThis is my vintage Noe GM. I’m obsessed! Question tho: how many of you use a bag organizer in a Noe? Congrats on your new-to-you Noe! I love the Cadillac Boot and Shoe Leather Conditioner and Cleaner Lotion to condition dry vachetta leather. If you're on instagram, you should follow the account jeveuxlesac, he has tons of great tips and tricks to clean and restore vintage LV! I purchased a replacement "lace" for my noe from dress up your purse for around $30, they even sell pre-tanned ones to match the patina of the leather on the rest of your bag if that is something you're interested in replacing. Also any suggestions on cleaning her. Her handle has some slight surface cracks and I was thinking I should use a leather conditioner to help keep it nice.
I have new and old LV pieces, and the older ones definitely seem to be more sturdy leather with thicker canvas. However I haven't thankfully had any problems with newer pieces. I did read an article somewhere a while ago where they talked about the fact that improvements in the technology of the treatment of the canvas has allowed them to use lighter material but I'm not sure how much of that was smoke and mirrors.Hi everyone. So glad I found this thread! I have a new to me vintage Petite Noe……I was shocked when I received her. I’ve never had a LV this old and didn’t realize the leather and even the canvas would feel different. I want to say it’s more sturdy and less soft/bendy…..has anyone else noticed this?
It concerned me to the point I had the bag authenticated (which it passed ) and the authentication service agreed this is true of older bags.
Here she is…not the most glamorous photo but she’s from April 1990! 34 years old and the prettiest honey patina and the canvas is flawless!
