Hi! I'm new here but looove vintage LV. Just added a Partition to my small collection.. Does anyone else have one and know what fits in it? I just love the shape and size and took a chance on it.. Thanks!

Yes!! I was trying to remember the name of this bag!! I have this and mostly lend it to my 12 yo daughter these days as it doesn't fit a great deal. When I used it, I would throw in my card holder, phone and lipstick. It's such a cool bag.

Here's the gang so far: everything is at least 15 years old (does that count?) except some of the SLGs. The oldest are my Petit Noe and Trousse 23. Have a Trousse 28 and Partition on the way. Would love to add something in multicolore (maybe just an SLG) and a vernis bag maybe...what do you think? View attachment 4871716
I love that bag on the left! Can you share the name if it? Top handle DE so cute!

I love the Vernis! I have a Houston in lime and a cute little Reade PM in red. The basic tote shape really lets the colors and texture play front and center. The Reade gets so much attention and is the only LV bag I have worn that my husband and other men have said “that’s a really nice bag!” about. It is Red and not Pomme...wish it was Pomme (is a little darker and richer IMO) but I picked it up in fantastic condition for under $200! I treated any small corner chips with a matching nail polish and good as new!!!!

I have a vintage Speedy 30 which I bought in the mid 70's (yes, I'm vintage too!) I haven't used it in ages since one handle has come unstitched. I remember taking it to LV about 10 years ago and they said they don't work on bags that are so old....Now I've decided to try and fix it and use it again. I have cleaned the vacchetta with saddle soap and I will condition it once it's dry. The lock has LV in a circle but I remember it's not it's original one because I had lost the keys so I bought a new one from LV, it's still pretty old, must be from the 80's or there abouts. The odd thing I've noticed today taking it out is that it doesn't have LV stamped anywhere on the bag....maybe back then there weren't problems with fakes. Anyway fakes are stamped so it's no guarantee of being legit. Date codes came later aswell from what I read above....
