Hi all - I’ve been stalking PF and debating between a bucket GM and a Mezzo. I LOVE the look of the bucket but fear my junk getting lost in the bottom. So I started researching Mezzos and found this! Does it look like a lil love would bring it back to life or does it need $$ overhaul? I won’t hold anybody responsible just researching and it’ll be my first LV...

A little TLC and some leather glue in the corners and she will be great!!!! I would buy her!

Just regards the Bucket, I have a vintage GM Bucket, this bag organiser has made the world of difference to me.
I did strip the Vuittonite lining off with acetone nail remover first, but if you get this liner you probably wouldn't need to do that.
Vuittonite is that plastic-y lining that used to be on some bags.
ETA I think you could find a better Mezzo if you keep looking.

I found and rescued one of those recently for a friend...great bags and built like tanks! Hers was from the 1980’s and with a little TLC liked brand new! Congrats! Love yours!

Occasional lurker here who has regained her love of LV during the pandemic :D

I've hit 2021 hard with two vintage LV purchases already
I couldn't resist a discoloured Wooster that I won on ebay for $150, which I'll be dyeing after watching a few people revamp their Vernis on Youtube. I'll post in the Rescue thread once I get all my Fiebing's dye sorted. Worst case scenario, the straps are pristine so I can salvage that and the hardware (also brand new sparkling!).
I then couldn't say no to a Speedy 25 from Japan. The problem was that with only 11 minutes to go, I noticed a few odd things about it so I quickly Googled. It turned out that it's a vintage Speedy from The French Company so I went ahead and bid. It's in great condition and I love that it's different to the LV Speedy. I managed to remove/coverup the initials and it's currently got a bunch of soft toys in it to plump out its shape. I'll get an organiser for it as there's some ink staining that I won't be able to remove. Otherwise, super happy! I can't say that I have a current Mongram item to compare but they sure made the canvas to last back in the day!

I suspected this for a while but just found a concrete evidence.

This is seller "mikasho350" post

This is seller "g-rare" post

As you can see, it's the exact same product and they even use the exact same photo. But note the two different prices. One is US $2,701.00 while another one is US $1,820.00.

I suspect that they are same company trying to see what buyer is willing to pay for it. Do your research ladies.
