MCM was founded in late 1970's in Munich and the initials stand for the founder Michael Cromer Munchen. I believe they were bought out by a Korean company in 2000's. They've gotten more popular lately. My backpack is a vintage one I got pre-loved

I got very lucky and found a 1992 Speedy 25 at a garage sale! She sold it to me for dirt cheap, and it's authentic (Have had verified). I'm not a fan of hand carry but I'd like to get a nice leather strap from Mcraft. The only "flaws" are somewhat dirty handles and one of the edge tags (where it says "Made in USA") is ripped off/chewed off (dog?).

I also just purchased a Cabas Piano from Yoogis. Will get verified... I am so excited because I've been wanting it for years!

Congrats on your beautiful Vintage Speedy 25!!! Several videos on YouTube on how to clean dirty handles if you’re interested. My Vintage 1990 Speedy 40 had dark, dirty handles, tarnished hardware and dull canvas when I purchased it, and I cleaned and conditioned them to reveal a beautiful honey color patina, polished the hardware, and applied conditioner to the canvas . Amazing results! Before and after pic below.

I used a Mr. clean Magic Eraser, and followed her instructions exactly. But I bought the Vintage Speedy 40 cheap on Malleries.com. I would only do this on a old preloved bag.

Very impressive! My concern would be the vachetta - it looks very dry in the after pic.

Sharing my 1992 Pochette Concorde!

It was gift for my mom from dad, back in 1992 and she pass it on to me.
But somewhat it wasn't my taste(look too dressy for me).
Instead of selling it to fashionfiles, I took it to local bag repair shop and they took out the top handle instead of cut and shorten it,so I can put the handle back whenever I wanted to.Finally I can use it as crossbody

What do you think! now it looks more casual? used straps from my siena.
She adorn the bag so it looks like new, no scratch etc.

I broke my vintage epi pochette accessoires. Worn it as a fanny pack to hold my phone and doggy bags while on a short bike ride. The impact on the bike ride tore off the leather that was holding the side d ring Ive glued it back down for now but i shouldnt have used the bag in a way that it was not designed to be used.

I think now that ive glued it, Lv wont fix it. If my diy repair fails ill take it to a cobbler next.

Actually, the vachetta is not dry at all. Especially since I condition it because of the age of the bag.
