Sharing my 1992 Pochette Concorde!

It was gift for my mom from dad, back in 1992 and she pass it on to me.
But somewhat it wasn't my taste(look too dressy for me:sad:).
Instead of selling it to fashionfiles, I took it to local bag repair shop and they took out the top handle instead of cut and shorten it,so I can put the handle back whenever I wanted to.Finally I can use it as crossbody:biggrin:

What do you think! now it looks more casual? used straps from my siena.
She adorn the bag so it looks like new, no scratch etc.
I love what you did! It's a lot easier to wear this way I think :) Lucky you to have such a nice bag handed down to you :)

Great find! That is in really nice condition for being that old  Mine is from 1992.
I've just added an eighteen year old Speedy 30 to my collection of preloved LV. Along with a thirty seven year old Alma, thirteen year old Deauville and sixteen year old Speedy 25 I'm rather pleased with my little lot!View attachment 4245466
Lovely collection! I love preloved LV :-D

Just want to ask if any of you know how much (estimate) to change all the vachetta of an LV bag? Planning to repair my vintage LV Gibeciere MM but I don't have any idea how much would it cost me. Thanks!
It will be several hundred dollars, but the bag will look like new! If you stop by a store and ask, they will give you an exact quote. Then you can decide if you want to do it. Good luck!

Sorry if this has been asked before - I did search the thread and couldn't immediately find an answer.

Those who have dealt with tarnished/worn hardware - what did you do? Is there a polish that is good, and/or would LV re-plate? I have a couple of vintage Epi bags that could do with sparklier hardware.
