It's very similar to the Musette. You can tell the difference because the Musette doesn't have any zipped pockets. I think the carrier is taller.Now I have to Google the carrier bag...
I had a black one like this! It was my first ever Coach bag in 1989 or 1990, I believe. I still miss that bag... I used it for many years until it was totally beat up. I wish I had known about rehabbing back then...
It was a great bag. Not too big, but it held a lot. I remember I stupidly put a bottle of red nail polish in it and it broke! But it was still usable!
This isn't really vintage, but is a remake of a vintage piece, so I think this is the best place for my story, lol. I was in Belk yesterday looking at the sale bags. There was this Coach Saddle 18 from the 75th anniversary sitting there. I noticed it because it looked kind of like a vintage bag, and then I looked at the creed that described the bag. I was just really surprised to see such a unique find in Belk, as that never happens. I didn't buy it or anything but I guess someone must have returned it long after buying it.
I found a stewardess in amazing condition today. NYC made with the paperwork... But I really can't identify the color. Any ideas? Look how shiny and gold the feet are. I'm not even sure I want to bathe it.

WoW! Good for you! Could it be Putty?.. I remember Putty being really light back in the day Love it!
Looking at this I think she is putty... but she is a different shade to other bags I have that I thought were putty. I wonder if she's taupe? And I think I have a grey Stewardess that I was thinking was taupe but looking at your swatches it looks exactly like that grey. I think perhaps from the paperwork that this might be from 1985 so that is probably the right group of colors or close. I have a crazy amount of Stewardess bags now!WOW!
