I think the stewardess I have is from the 90s (authenticated here ) so it’s probably lighter. The strap is also quite long for me - I think the longest drop must be close to 20” or something.

And I agree with you on the Plaza bag! I immediately checked ebay last night after I discovered what it was and the two I found were both over $100 before shipping and customs! So maybe that bag is not in the cards for me (yet!). I would love to see your bags if you want to share, they are always so beautifully restored!

Occasionally there is a good deal on a plaza bag when the seller doesn't know what they have. I got my most recent 2 under $50 shipped each. The green one is especially a bargain because the seller listed it as blue and took my best offer. I am very confused as to why she said it was blue because it isn't even close. And green is more cool. But I have wanted more Plaza bags for years and I only had the small black one and it has only been recently that I found some. I think about $100 is the usual price if it's in good condition. I will share when I'm done rehabbing it.

It’s called the Swinger. They made it in a 9”, style 4080 and 12”, style 4040, length. From the Lightweights collection. As to color, I have a photo from a 1988 catalogue that shows a color than could be similar to BT as Honey, but it could be BT! It’s a crapshoot on pinning down the color, IMO! Enjoy.

I recently thrifted this hobo...can't find any online info on style, color (BT?), year made, etc. I'm curious to know what it is but what I do know is...I LOVE IT!View attachment 4359982 View attachment 4359984

Yes, it's the swinger 4040. The small had a skinnier strap. it was probably made in the late 80s, early 90s.
