Does yours have made in china stamped on the bottom? I was a little dismayed to find that. Also seems like someone swtched out the key ring on it to a silver one so I'll have to switch it out for a brass one I guess.I have one just like it and keep my car fob in it. I love it!!!

Good to know.. Now I'm worried though... Here's the stamp. It's tinyJust chiming in here...I looked at all the ones currently listed and sold on eBay and none of them have the Coach cartouche stamped on the back or a China stamp.
I believe they were made in 1997 based on this catalog pic and the appearance of the color Glacier in the description. I've only seen the color Glacier mentioned in 1997 catalogs (example below from Holiday 1997).

I don't think the made in China stamp is a problem. They were probably introduced in 1997 but that doesn't mean they were only made that year. The China factories were in use for business items as early as 1997. I personally had a Willis made in China in 1999. I also had a city key fob that was made in China. I don't know if you can see it in this picture but it has the same stamp. It also had the cartouche on the back.Good to know.. Now I'm worried though... Here's the stamp. It's tiny

The hardware looks the same as on another little thing I have with a mini turn lock.
Good. Thanks whateve! It doesn't seem fake to me. Might have some shoe polish on it though! I'll give it the usual spa treatment. I believe it is authentic. You are welcome to post it in the AT thread if you would like other opinions.
I don't, but I doubt it. Probably just plated. Coach wasn't using solid brass on most bags in the late 90s and later.Good. Thanks whateve! It doesn't seem fake to me. Might have some shoe polish on it though! I'll give it the usual spa treatment. Do you know if the hardware is real brass?
I just had a run-in with this seller myself. She had already purchased a bag from me, which she won on auction for insultingly cheap, I then found that same bag in her store for 10 times the price (the bag wasn't even worth that much). She contacted me today about another of my bags, to get free shipping on it, like come on. I forgot I blocked her and when she went to bid she wasn't allowed. She then sent me a tiffed message. Shes just a re-seller trying to get bags as cheap as possible, which, ok, but you ain't getting anymore of my bags.I have blocked this user on Ebay. She bought one of my bags and immediately sent me a message saying she wanted to cancel because "she accidentally bought it" and then kept pushing me to buy it for a lower price... someone with that much Ebay experience and a shop filled with items knows their way around Ebay. I ended up cancelling it because it was just too weird of a situation.
