What is the story on this one? It was returned and relisted.

From the verbiage in the item description, I would guess that the previous buyer took offense with whatever was employed to "recondition" the leather. The sheen in the pictures, which admittedly could be attributable to any number of factors photographic and otherwise, suggest that the bag may have been treated with something that an aficionado might object to, but that's purely speculation on my part. Looks pretty for a 20-yo Italian-made Duffle Sac.

It looks very pretty to me too. I would love to see it in person, but it's not something I would use.
As RLB noted, description was updated to include this statement:
"I have reconditioned the leather on the bag so if this bothers you, please don't bid and move on."

I purchased the bag. I was under the impression it was just a natural sheen, but it was evident that the bag had been treated with something other than just conditioner. It squeaked

Shoulder Sac, it needs creed pic for authentication. If only I didn't have this color already...

There is a rivet missing holding the buckle on one side too. I was interested in this until I noticed that. I even had the seller send me a pic of the creed. That's why the strap is folded in that goofy way. I have accidentally bought 2 bags like this in the past and had to get them fixed. The shoe repair guys made a real mess of it too.
