So does anyone know the name, style number of this cutie, rounded, closer in size to the Willis it seems, as opposed to the smaller Post Pouch bag, if I am correct?? Or is this the Post Pouch bag?? I am not interested in purchasing, but would like to know for future reference (aka purchase lol, let's call it what it is). I am already locked and loaded for a 9097 lol. On my HG/bucket list.

I need a dowel family tutorial. Oh, to have them all laid out in front of me for comparison!

Yes, post pouch. I sold a green one recently cuz I found it too small.

I had a Post Pouch and I sold it, thinking I would prefer a different color. I really regret selling. They are super cute and hard to find! I'm a sucker for the little bags, and the dowel styling just adds to the cuteness!

For me it is the struggle, how small can I go? I too like the little cute bags. I am ready to let go of a small one that has a zipper, but if I came across a small flap bag , at the right price, color, style and condition, I would pick one up. I have been seeing the little flap bag with the change purse inside. I would love :heart::heart: that little change purse. I would take that little bag out to parade it around lol.

A long time ago, ledobe did a thread comparing Willis like bags. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/will-the-real-ms-willis-please-step-forward.758096/

I recently purchased an early 80's duffle sac and I conditioned it with Blackrocks. I wore it this weekend with khakis and I noticed that there was some black that rubbed off - any idea if conditioning the leather would have led to that? Should I wash the bag and condition again?

Maybe, did you buff really well after conditioning? I've noticed sometimes after conditioning a little color transfer when I buff with a microfiber towel, but it's usually not much. It's possible the bag was dyed or polished before you got it, and that's where the excess color is coming from. Was it a lot of color or just a little?

Normally that doesn't happen. I remember someone putting a light colored wallet inside a black bag and it got stained, so I guess it could happen. The conditioning didn't cause the problem. The dyes Coach used back then weren't colorfast. When you washed it, did the water turn black?

It wasn't a ton of color, the transfer happened on the ridges of the shorts - think where the stitching is for the pockets.

I didn't wash it, just conditioned when I received the bag. I'm going to try to soak it and really wipe with a damp cloth to see what I get off the bag.

Don't be surprised if the water turns black. That is normal when soaking. Let it soak for 15-20 minutes in warm soapy water. Then rinse well, pat dry and lightly stuff with towels to shape while drying. You'll need a moisturizing conditioner besides Blackrocks to apply when the bag is nearly dry.

I have Leather CPR as well as Lexol Cleaner and Lexol Conditioner - suggestions with using any of those?

I also asked the seller if it was treated with anything prior to shipping.

Just found this cute bag with that dowel styling in one of my searches - related to Post Pouch?
Nothing I'm selling or going to buy, not authenticated,

Just noticed two different colored bags are shown in the pics.....?
I think the lighter pictures are with flash.

It looks like a Murphy bag but I can't authenticate since I can't read the creed. It's a later style than the post pouch.
