Maybe so! I don't know anything about vintage salvatore ferragamo but this seller has a white one for $85.
But oh this bag has no smell unlike any of the vintage coach bags I have. It's like it was in a box all this time or something. It really was never used since it still has the tag on! I think I am going to frame the bag and hang it up in my closet.
Anyone want to snatch this one up? I "think" it's a musette (?)

No, it is a Carrier. Carriers have zippered inside pocket and outside pocket that runs the length of the back of the bag. Looks like it has ink on the front. That is too much to spend for a Carrier in that condition, IMO.

The Carrier is a good size to use as a briefcase. I wouldn't carry it any way other than as a briefcase. I use the Musette like a small briefcase. I think some people carry it instead of a regular purse. The style (and size) just doesn't work for me for that.

I'd love to own this one day. I'd not want to pay what they are asking. What would be a current fair price market value of this bag? They didn't ask for a best offer but if the option was available, would $250 be a lowball offer? I don't want to look like a fool.

Aww @coach943 I am so glad you love it! I love how it looks. But I know I wouldn't carry it all and it would just sit on my shelf collecting dust. I am just happy you saw my post in short enough time for the score! LOL!
