Either the seller missplaced the decimal point or she has no idea how to price it. It isn't vintage either.

^ I agree. She also doesn't know she should show a picture of the creed. A rookie seller.

But you never know. I once watched an item that had what seemed (to me) a ridiculously high BIN price. It was a vintage Dooney & Bourke wallet, new in box, for $495 BIN or Best Offer. The wallet sat there for 2 years, got over 2,000 views, received many Best Offers, and finally sold for $305.

Ok ladies, how are you storing your vintage bags? I've been selling most of my rehabs, but now I'm starting to collect some and I'm not sure how to properly store them. Any suggestions? A part of my wants to display them because they are so pretty just to look at - do you display yours as well?

I like to see them too. I have a few small bags and wallets in a drawer, a few on a shelf lined with tissue paper in my closet, and my New York City collection in an armoire. I rotate them in and out (I like to carry them), and wipe them lightly with conditioner and stuff them gently with tissue paper before putting them away.

From what I've learned, bags should not be hung by the strap, but should stand upright if possible. Bags that won't stand should be stored lying down with nothing on top of them, and turned occasionally. Dust bags are recommended to keep the bag from collecting dust in the pores. (I don't use dust bags, but I probably should.)

I store them the same way I store all my bags, in dustbags on shelves. Floppy bags lie down.

Your ladies look lovely! I haven't been carrying any of mine yet, but stuffing them sounds like a good idea. Don't want them to lose their shape! Thank you for sharing :)

How often do you take your bags out for some air/conditioning? Are there any negative effects of leaving them covered for too long?
I've never noticed any problem with leaving them covered too long. The dustbags aren't airtight. I'd rather have them in the dustbags so they don't accidentally touch each other or get dirty. I don't take them out for conditioning on a regular schedule. I carry nearly all of my bags. I have a few accessories that I don't use but I think I use all of the bags. When I use them, I'll condition them before I put them away again if I think it is necessary.

This is helpful, thanks for the feedback! I will have to look for some dustbags [emoji846]
