Drooling! What a great family photo. Did the Suspender look that good when you found her? Thanks for sharing!

The suspender was in excellent condition as she was rehabbed by one of the best out there, Del Hurst. The Carrier was an easy rehab, the Swag was in great condition so just a bit of conditioning was needed. The Musette was another story. It took a long time to rehab that one. Glad you like the photo. People have been asking me which bags are bigger or smaller so this way you can get a good idea. Until the Swag arrived, even though I knew the dimensions, I had no idea she would as big as she is. :-)

That bag is a mess and that price shows how crazy things have gotten. There is another pony express coming up but the starting bid for that one is $400.00 and the seller will probably get it. At least it's in decent condition. JMHO but I would not go near that style until things settle down again - and they will.

No matter how much I love a style, I make sure I don't get nutso. Just addicted. :-)
The rule to stick to is....., Buy what no-one wants at the moment and sell what everyone is buying!

I just realized I posted the wrong info on the Bonnie Cashin bag earlier. Please ignore that one. The one I thought it was has been reduced again to ONLY $1100. LOL

I tried to help that seller when she first listed it. At least she added a photo of the metal tag. I told her it was over priced at $800.00 so she raised the price. Shaking my head.

Do you think some bags have seasonal spikes? I bought a mint Coach Burlap bag with Ladybug Appliques for $60.00 in February but the prices seemed to rise in the summer.

Honestly, I am not sure about the particular season but I love the Ladybug bags so now I have a reference price to work from. The market seemed to go crazy when the college kids went back to school - more bags to choose from. They make their spending money selling Coach bags. I do remember that the 90s bags - Madisons, Sheridans & Dakotas were pricier in the summer - at least when I was collecting them. I think a lot depends on the economy too.

Is this fake? It looks weird to me, but like I said I'm not familiar with all styles and lines.

I've seen some bags very similar to that but I would request a clear photo of the creed. You could also do a search for Coach Bonnie Cashin bags and see what comes up.

Again, I don't want one. I'm done buying bags. I just wanted to know so I could post it in the fake thread.

ETA: There was a Coach Bonnie Cashin Collection that came out in 2009 with bags that look a lot like this. Apparently they were very high priced at the time. I found one on a blog that retailed for $1000. Holy crap.
