...thought I would share my message with y'all, because I'm in that kinda mood!! LOL!!

Bonnie Cashin joined Coach in the 1960s. The coach creed is the metal coach tag..so that dates it from the mid 1960s. The bag is NOT priceless..CONTACT the COACH ARCHIVES in NYC..ask the curator, do some research!! .You are waaay off with your dates and the info about this bag, Though VERY nice is is not all that RARE..Your listing is questionable, and I totally understand why you have been reported to ebay ....

Their response follows..and please HELP !! lets get this bag pulled off ebay AGAIN!!because these people need:bagslap::noggin: And they need t o realize they can't just MAKE UP STORIES about items..and when they get pulled because its a fantasy they have created, they blame us jealous DOUGH people...because we DON'T BELIEVE ..LOL!!
This is what they wrote back...

"Thank you for your "KIND" response. We have contacted many COACH MANUFACTURERS AND COLLECTORS regarding the date. There were some concerns regarding this beautiful handbags date. But it does not give any one the RIGHT to send any "RUDE" emails. With is being said thank you once again."

MY RESPONSE? "NOT RUDE..JUST HONEST!!"

Whaddaya all think about those sour grapes? You know!! I neverever contact sellers ...
but it just irritated me...ah well, I'm on a mission! I took a couple hours off~left the house & came home to fight w/ ebayers. I should have washed some purses instead!..anyway, gee, that was funfunfun!! :supacool: Hope everyone is Groovy:heart: CHEERS!! S.

My Madison Biltmore & Gracie rainbow. R to L: Garnet, Scarlet, Forest, (blue?), Navy.
I'm still hunting for cheap Butter, Citron, and Mandarin in this family.
I had Maple Biltmore but decided I didn't like and would never wear the color again after the first time I carried it, and a Granite Biltmore that was too splotchy for me, so they've been rehomed.
Stunning collection!

I've seen that listing a couple of times and it just amazes me that they can fabricate a story like that. The irony is that anyone who was really knowledgeable about Coach would know they are blowing smoke and an unenlightened virgin would never pay that kind of money for it anyway, so who their target buyer is, is a mystery to me. They needed their knuckles rapped, imo, so their holier-than-thou response chafes, plus the damn thing is still up.

:winkiss:
Your Tomato Sonoma is my holy Grail. I was on vacation when that was listed so you are lucky you weren't in a fight over ownership! I don't always use the straps either but it's always a good idea to hang onto them just in case you decide to put them up for adoption. The hang tags too. I also keep the tags of new purses in the zippered interior pocket.

I have a black Madison Copley, that was NWOT which I got it about two years ago. I paid 60.00 bucks for it so I feel very, very lucky to have it. It is one of the most timeless pieces, imo. I have about 6 or 7 Italian made Madisons. I don't have any Gracies; they are as cute as all get out but not practical for me; I like to use my purses. I am one of those people who don't have "good" towels, etc. I use what I own. Although, I do have this absolutely gorgeous pale green, pearlized leather Coach purse that I like to look at; I've never used it though.;)
Ooh pic please of green pearlised purse!

I'd posted that one a couple pages back asking "Seriously? Is this for real?" but no one responded at all.
