What's the deal with the piping on the pony? Faded, or repaired? It can't be a spectator

It does seem to be piped in a different colour.
Only place it's darker is under the flap on the piping there. Just seems to be patina.
Other than that I know nothing.

This HAS to be a typo right? Like its really $1.9K, still outrageous but I have seen pricing like that before.
A pony express sold on ebay $1.8K a few mos ago and I think most consider that to be more valuable vs baby courier? Maybe about the same. I have a blavy one, if prices actually GOT to these levels I'd sell.

It looks to be in beautiful condition! I'll bet if you dunk it, the colors will start to match. But I don't know that I would do it for such a valuable bag- The last pony I saw was this one

Even in US dollars it's expensive! When I first started collecting, bags like this were selling for under $50.

Yeah I started buying more Coach around 2015 because I moved to San Francisco and Coach was available in Goodwill. Classic Pouches NYC were available online for $50 or sometimes you'd see them at Goodwill.
The used to give away basic bags 9455 then, for $7 at Goodwill. It seemed like every time you went you'd see them - I left a bunch behind due to condition - stupid!

Coach bags are like some real estate - a reasonable amount of availability and things stay at the same price for a while and then all the inventory gets bought up and boom.

I've been asked by the gifter not to dunk. So I won't be. Just a saddle soap and CPR .
Currently enjoying her as she is.
