ChevailereNoir- I love your collection, thank you for sharing it with us!
I love the Coach reds, and have 2 red coach bags, my Janice being my fav! The color is so rich.

GeorgiaGirl- get well, so many have had that virus and it is hard to shake.

SheriDahlin- You have to tell them when they are wrong, but you can't change them. You did your best, it will catchup to the seller eventually.

And to you all kind posters, thank you for your advice and understanding this obsession we all seem to have. You are a great set of people!

I tried to find the FB group Vintage Coach Leatherwares-Rehabs, Rescues and Rarities ( would love to see all the pics). FB changes make it pretty hard to find groups anymore. No search like there is for Friends. Can someone post a help?

I'd posted that one a couple pages back asking "Seriously? Is this for real?" but no one responded at all.
HI GEORGIA! LONG TIME!! HOWAHYA??? I haven't been around in months...you can write me anytime to chat..send me a private message & I'll send you my email..
Thanks for everyone elses comments...
If y'all remember this one..
My Aunt Lousie left me a genuine AUTHENTIC COACH bag made in 1899!! I don't care if anyone disses me & says its not GENUINE!! I live in LA-LA Land & everything I believe is TRUE..if you don't believe my TALL TALES, than it must be YOU who has a problem..."
:woot::lolots::woot::roflmfao::roflmfao:
Back to work...scrubbing & buffing!! Take Care everyone!! CHEERS!! S.

Just when I thought I was getting myself under control! I'm a huge Art Deco fan, and that tote is about to make me forget my (supposed) ban (again lol)... :nono:
The second bag is the one I have in pale green. Pristine, never been used. I will try to get some pics uploaded. But once I do, be forwarned, I am the proud momma of lots of lovely purses that may clog up the forum!:graucho:

Our watch list must be identical. There was a black wristlet or makeup bag in this collection that was a BIN that someone bought out from under me. Like, I hit the button and someone bought it before I could complete the sale.
We like the same things! I wonder if we've ever bid against each other! Someone bought the cadet blue tortilla. Was it you?

Bring it on!

oh one more question..Whateve prob knows this answer..;)
What is the significance of the "paper clip" zip pull on vintage basic bags?..Was there a time frame they were used or is it just random "thang" ?used in place of the leather pulls? Any ideas?
oooh, maybe the bag is PRICELESS?? Must have been made in 1940..hahaha!! :lolots:
Actually its pre serial number 1970s basic bag...seller I bought it from thought the pull was a mistake..I will have to bend it back into shape cuz it keeps falling off, but I do know the "brass paper clip pull"is not a COACH "faux pas" MUCHO GRACIAS!!!! LATAH!!! S.

Here's a poorly listed 6106 in white with Best Offer. It has no creed pic and needs authenticating.

Thank you! I added that one to my files. The seller doesn't list measurements - it is super tiny!

I think two.time.bags knows more than me about it. She is the one who first pointed it out to me. I have one on my pre-creed watermelon bag. I haven't had any trouble with it. I think I've seen more than one listing where the seller thought it had been replaced because it looks makeshift.

Wait...doesn't yours also have a leather pull? The paper clip just replaces the ring of the pull. There is still a piece of leather attached to it. If you've been using just the paper clip that might explain why it keeps getting bent out of shape.

Hi, like to show off my 2 drawstring bags. The British Tan is a Delancy Drawstring 4122, early 90's. It waspart of the Lightweight Collection and as large as it is, 12 1/2 × 10 × 6 1/2 it is surprisingly light. Chose to not dunk it as had some tiny inkmarks on the pocket and was in wonderful condition other than someone put an extra hole in the strap. The other is a Marietta Drawstring Sheridan 4219 same timeframe in white and tan with an atempt to add holes in the strap the only flaw. I love them both♡

I have always loved the look of the Delancey but I hate rehabbing Lightweights! I'd have to find one in almost new condition. Yours is gorgeous! How much can you fit in the Sheridan? I've seen the Darcey, which is huge.
