The other is a Marietta Drawstring Sheridan 4219 same timeframe in white and tan with an atempt to add holes in the strap the only flaw. I love them both♡

I haven't carried the Marietta yet but it will be perfect for me. Bad shoulders so smaller bags! It fits a full size wallet and probably small makeup bag and comb, all I carry anymore. It isn't quite small enough to fit into my Happy Hour bag catagory, however. The Delancy is huge for me, but the leather is so soft I really like the feel of it and it has a little patina to it.

I think two.time.bags knows more than me about it. She is the one who first pointed it out to me. I have one on my pre-creed watermelon bag. I haven't had any trouble with it. I think I've seen more than one listing where the seller thought it had been replaced because it looks makeshift.

Wait...doesn't yours also have a leather pull? The paper clip just replaces the ring of the pull. There is still a piece of leather attached to it. If you've been using just the paper clip that might explain why it keeps getting bent out of shape.

yeah yeah..you are right, it has the leather wristlet strap..duh..I'm not using it,I just found it in my rehab pile & the paperclip that replaces the ring is bent, so It fell off & I thought I lost the strap. I'll ask TTB..its prob a 70s thing..
.I'm not a real leather worker like TTB, but I do metal work(jewelry) so I can fix it ..
BTW, seller sold it cheap BECAUSE she thought paperclip was a flaw.. Hope you are well!!:wave: S.

I'm doing fine. We're going on another trip this summer but just in the West. I have mixed feelings about bringing home more treasures!

It looks authentic, but I think the seller would be lucky to get 10% of that.

I tried to find the FB group Vintage Coach Leatherwares-Rehabs, Rescues and Rarities ( would love to see all the pics). FB changes make it pretty hard to find groups anymore. No search like there is for Friends. Can someone post a help?

Thanks..I have learned to NEVER write to ebayers..but I was into the vino last night and it seemed easier to vent my frustrations on a lying newbie seller than on my family..LOL! Fortunately, I didnt use our ebay store..I'm still getting messages from that MORON today!! at least she /he can't attack me on my store.. I DID learn not to write from ebay store after my adventure with GUTLESS GIRL Wonder...sometimes, I do learn from my mistakes..:yahoo:
got 3 bgs soaking, maybe I'll share their latest message latah..AND GRAB that 1500 dollar bag QUICK, cuz seller says it will be GONE in3 days..:roflmfao:

oh not that button bag AGAIN!!! The 1100 bag? Check out those chix other prices...mymy! after I steel wool my fingertips off, my rehabbed bags are still cheaper than most of these beaters..I'm wondering if it is even worth it to rehab theses days..
Also, prices were artificially inflated when tons of bags were being snatched up by
THE SECRET 6.. so if any of you are looking for bags..prices are going to drop like a lead balloon ~VERYvery soon.. Of I this I am sure~and I don't have a crystal ball ..

I know who one of them is. She was buying every slim satchel in sight as long as it was around $75 or below. I was wondering if it was for resale or was she going to teach a rehabbing class or maybe there is some other secret purpose.

Who are the other 5, and are they working together?

One of our own have been driving up prices on Madison; I won't mention names. :graucho:

It seemed like we've seen more than one of those. First time I saw one I thought it might be real just because those buttons all look vintage.
