You're braver than me. I have boxes of bags to rehab and I know that one would still be there this time next year!

It will stink when you wash it and the inside is going to need a really good scrubbing and the outside will probably need acetone, but it is do-able as Sheri said, and there's only a little verdigris, aka pondscum.

Good luck with it and please post pics on Rehab.

I'm sure you'll make your 'vermin bags' look gorgeous again. I do wonder what people do to their bags to get them in such disgusting states.

Here's the two pond scum bags that lived in your garage for a while.

The brown one is too far gone with worn piping and is really gross inside, but I can use the zipper for another Basic Bag. The strap has improved with conditioning, but the clips are covered in I-don't-know-what! The tabac bag came up nicely.

I don't own any of the Sills bags that I know of but would love to find out the difference. Sills was high end stuff should be very nice. Not sure that they made any handbags though. :-)

I have a Cashin Sills coat that I keep saying I should just sell because I know I'll never wear it. Picked it up on eBay, of course. Guess now that I've mentioned it I'll have to take a picture for y'all.

Has anyone ever seen an organizer pouch? It looks a lot like a classic pouch but is squarer. I wonder if it has pockets inside since it is called "organizer."

The strap on this is interesting. It is double sided leather. I've only noticed it on the UA Stewardess, and on smaller bags with a narrow strap. Personally, I much prefer it to the one sided leather with piping. It looks a lot neater and more 'finished'.

I wonder if it was replaced. I thought this bag was supposed to come with the other type of strap. The Ranch bag, which is big like a stewardess, has a two-sided strap.

I think it looks more finished but I think the other type of strap is softer and more comfortable. I hate rehabbing one sided straps. It is hard getting the conditioner on all the smooth leather parts while missing the suede center.
