Those are some beautiful greens! I have that sonoma flap in that exact color. I paid $25 for it, but it was stinky and needed to be dunked and brushed.

Love that tote! Not the price though. Two Sonoma flaps is enough but I do like that olive colour.
Lucky you! The seller wouldn't go any lower than $30 for me! Your shipping charge was less than half of what mine would have been. It helps when you live close to the seller. Some sellers charge exorbitant amounts to ship to California.Ok, they accepted my offer of $27. Shipping was $8.10 and i had a $5 off coupon. So the total was $30.10 for the 2 bags.
I have that same style in nubuck. However, the bag in this listing is not authentic. Hopefully you can find another that is. It's not too heavy. There are a bunch of compartments, which keeps you organized, but sometimes I can't remember which compartment has what I'm looking for. I only have one natural grain Sonoma. The pebbled leather is very nice, squishy and soft. I wasn't a pebbled leather fan until I got my first Sonoma. I really like the Sonomas. I've been looking for a pebbled leather Sonoma flap for ages. I'm having trouble finding the large version in a color I like (and don't already have) for a decent price.Has anyone got a vintage Sonoma pebbled leather bag like this one?

If so, do you like it? I'm guessing it wouldn't be too heavy. What do you think of the vintage pebbled leather?
All opinions welcome!

You're welcome! It's always a good idea to get any bag authenticated before purchase. There are some bucket bags that don't have any pockets.Thank you! I actually thought that bag looked off compared to all I've been looking at. I've seen most with the center zip and and 2 magnetic close compartments on either side. I saw one that is a slightly different shape, has a zipper top (no magnetic compartments) and the creed says made in Italy.
How about this one?I'm now looking for the perfect British tan bag. My favorite styles are the skinny flight bag with the longer straps that fit on the shoulder and the shoulder sac. I want a medium to large sized shoulder bag. I don't want lightweights. I think the color is richer on thick leather.
That's gorgeous! It's too big for me though.

I'm really looking forward to seeing that olive one!
I was the first person to make an offer so they probably thought there would be plenty more offers coming. Then it was as you said, when you offered $25, they figured it must be a more appropriate price. If they had offered a flat rate box, I would have paid $30. They lost money by not being accommodating.Bummer they wouldn't do the price for you. Maybe after both of us offering $25, they realized they were asking too much. It took them a while to get back to me with my counter offer. I live in Minnesota so half way to just about everywhere. .. it sucks that people can't be honest with the shipping costs.
I'll take lots of before and after pictures for you. I can't wait to see them. I'm glad that they are unusual colors.
I didn't realise how wide it is. That's awesome! That's gorgeous! It's too big for me though.
I like that it's taller than the Prairie. Great find Joodlz.I've been having a string of "vintage luck" these last few days of summer (LOL...it will be summer here in Florida til likely sometime in December)! Found this mid-70's-early 80's NYC Saddlery Bag #9535 at GW for $24.99 - $5 coupon = $19.99. Similar to a Prairie Bag, but taller, with unique strap connection, I had never seen one of these before. Nice size too...approx. 9.75w x 9h x 3.5d Strap drop 18.25 to top of buckle. She's in lovely condition, though a little flat...can't wait to dunk!
That's nice! It's like a twin clutch with a huge compartment in the middle. I bet it is a Bonnie Cashin design. But the price!I didn't realise how wide it is. That's awesome!
Seller has this one too. Not BT but I love it.

It is probably a good thing I didn't win them anyway. I have way too many in my rehab pile. I've gotten down to the hard ones, so it isn't as much fun!
