Hi everyone! Can someone please tell me what colors the Coach Court 9807 Bags came in? I recently purchased one from Poshmark. I think it’s cream colored. it needs a bit of love and restoration. However, from what I have read, and seen on here. the bone and putty colors are all I am finding any mention of. I don’t want to restore it with an incorrect shoe cream. I have posted pictures to help with the color associated with the bag I purchased. Hi  If you go to the main Coach page, you will see a Reference Library subforum, and when you click on it, you will see a thread for vintage catalogs. You will need to click through pages to get to the late nineties, but there a lots of catalog pages for reference. And you can see the colors the Court was offered in by catalog, which changed from season to season. I think I see a "9" as the second character under the Creed which means your bag was manufactured in 1999.
I haven't done any work like this so I can't offer any suggestions. A search of Rehab and Rescue thread (also in the Clubhouse) for bone and putty will show you what others had done in the past. Good luck

I’m sorry to bug anybody but I have searched for a few days now for the style number for the small classic pouch to no avail. Can someone please share that information with me? I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks so much in advance
I have one.. Only a metal tag. Strap drop is 21"

It's a roomy little thing! Very deceiving in that regard!

There’s a small version of the classic shoulder bag that exists with no turn lock on the front & a slip pocket on the inside. Of the handful I’ve seen, they’ve all been pre-creed with the metal tab inside. I used to want one & a few people on the forum own them. The style number & name are a mystery to me though :shrugs:
I've never found a style number for the regular leather version.

So out of curiosity with the discussion of Chanel:

If you could comfortably splurge on designer bags, would you opt out & instead buy everything rare on your vintage coach wish-lists instead? Even with the possibility of those bags dropping in value in the future?

I have a cousin who only buys high end designer bags. When I visit her & she shares her “latest editions”, they just don’t excite me the same way vintage coach does.

I think it’s a combination of finding rare bags, the rehab transformations & connecting with other Coachies that keeps my bag collecting going. If vintage coach wasn’t a thing, Id probably only have a few bags & not really think much of them.

Rare coloured Courier > Chanel any day!
Probably a little late to this discussion but a few years ago I thought I wanted designer bags. In reality, I'm a cheapskate. I can't bring myself to spend more than about $500 for a bag. I'd rather have a lot of bags that didn't cost a lot than a few very expensive bags. There is too much pressure with expensive bags, both that something bad may happen to them and also that my enjoyment of the bag will turn into an obligation to get my money's worth out the bag.

I have some designer bags but I got them second hand. The only ones I've kept are Balenciaga and Bottega Veneta. The leathers are really nice but the durability is nowhere near vintage Coach.

Even if I felt like splurging I'd never spend a fortune even for my most desired vintage Coach. I'd still feel that same pressure I would with any expensive bag. Even if I could resell for a break-even price, I'd worry about all the things that could go wrong with selling expensive items.

A few times a year we visit Las Vegas where there are a lot of stores that sell designer bags. The last few times I haven't enjoyed looking at all the brands as much as I used to. I get more excited about going to thrift stores. You never know what kind of treasure you will find there.
